"It's fine. Thank you." Scorpius smiled sitting down on the bed. He watched as Artemis made himself at home but was sure the owl would leave in the matter of minutes. After all night time was their time. "I'll be out of your hair by dawn." He told her and set the alarm for 6am. He didn't want to cause the girl any more grief so six hours of sleep would have to do. His eye lids grew heavy but he rubbed them and smiled at Lilli. Sure enough in the morning he'd be a mess and could only imagine what his eyes looked like.

Kat let out a shaky breath before looking at herself in the mirror. She could see Toby behind her passed out from firewiskey and realized the minute she stepped in things hadn't changed. Carefully she touched the fresh bruise across her face and managed a smile knowing that James was safe. He could harm her all he'd like but she drew the line at friends and family. She didn't plan on meeting James anytime soon though especially with a mark like this; it'd take a few weeks to heal. The smell of firewiskey was too strong in the house so she quietly left trying to awaken the sleeping giant. Outside it was freezing but the fresh air was delightful as she made her way to the bench across the park. She'd have to clean up the mess inside from the 'welcome-back party' but right now she was exhausted and needed some sleep.

' Its fine, Sleep as long as you want. Its the holidays after all.' Lilli said before disappearing into her bedroom, shutting the door behind her. She began to get ready for bed, yawning every so often. She was quite tired from the train ride and just mainly from the cold.

(( That's alright I just felt like writing for her. Guess we should have our charries wake up?))

Scorpius smiled softly turning over in his bed. He wondered what she might like for Christmas or if she'd even accept the gift at that matter. If it was food she might make him eat it to prove it wasn't poisoned as he chuckled quietly to himself. Sooner or later he felt asleep and for once in his life things seemed right.

Lilli sat up in her bed, yawning and then with a jolt realised Scorpius Malfoy was a few rooms down. She quickly she stood up, she wasn't really used to long legged blonde males staying her house. Lilli quickly ran into the bathroom and had a shower and all. Whilst still in the bathroom, she changed into jeans and another t-shirt that said ' Rawr means I love you in dinosaur.' and a small dinosaur on it.

Meanwhile at the Potter Mansion, James woke up, somewhat reluctantly to his annoying WWW Alarm clock, He put his hand on the bedside table trying to turn it off. Instead, his hands closed around a small crinkly piece of paper.

Scorpius awoken a bit dazed at where he was and then it all came back to him. Lilli's, he was at Lilli's. He got dressed in just a plain black tee and some faded blue jeans before heading downstairs. With a wand of his wand he set the table as the smell of pancakes and sausages filled the air. It was the least he could do seeing as the girl let him stay over. He shooed his owl away as it attempted to swipe a blue berry muffin and narrowed his eyes at him when he preached on the window sill. That was too easy. He thought to himself when the bird didn't try again. He's up to something. Scorpius decided and didn't take his eyes of the bird for a second.

Kat shivered getting up from the cold park bench and quickly head inside to warm up. It had been a horrible night and she barely got any sleep. Looking at her reflection in the mirror she quickly did a cover-up spell and smiled at the results. She looked some what normal but you could still see the weariness in her eyes and the fresh bruise across her left cheek. Maybe I can find something at Digeon alley that's help. She thought hopefully sneaking out the door before Toby woke up.

Lilli went back into her bedroom and quickly dried her hair before stepping out again. As she stepped out, the strong smell of pancakes and ..sausages hit her? Lilli walked forward down the hall to investigate. As she got to the kitchen, she saw Scorpius. ' Oh, Morninhg, did you do all this, you shouldn't have.' She smiled as she walked forward.

James groaned softly as he reluctantly sat up and started to read the note. He suddenly sprung to life as he finished reading it. He jumped out of the bed and literally pulled jeans and a white tee on. He grabbed his wand and rushed down the stairs. James quickly left a note for his family and ran out the front door...

"I know I didn't have to but I wanted to." Scorpius replied smiling gently at her. He pulled out a chair like a waiter and put on a face. "Mademoiselle." He said politely and couldn't take his eyes off Lilli. It was a mistake as his owl swiftly stole as sausages before flying out the window. Scorpius glared at it as it ate mockingly right outside of the window pane. He gave a sigh before turning back to Lilli. "Anyways it's the least I can do for staying over at 'chateau Lilli'." He smiled. He had took it upon himself to learn french but didn't get to use it that often around the Slytherins.
"Well don't just stand there vite, vite." He laughed waving her to come and sit.

The cold winter air hit Kat's face despite having her hood on. It was just a precaution in case she bumped into anyone from school. Most of the girls had been talking about her going to Potter manor and if she was James' girlfriend now. Kat put a stop to those rumors though by saying she wasn't single. Well now she wasn't lying and was sort of in a relationship again. "Oh dear Kat! What happened?" The old store owner cried rushing over to the girl and inspecting the bruise. "Oh..well you know me. Never looking where I'm going and bumped into a pole." Kat lied looking downwards. Thankfully the lady didn't question her any more and just told her to wait as she got some healing potions.

Lilli's face broke into a small laugh and she sat down. ' I didn't know you knew french..?' She said, with a slight tone of amusement, ' Oh my gosh! Happy Birthday !.' She added suddenly remembering. ' Ah! I should be doing this for you, not vica-versa.' Lilli said mentally face palming herself.

James whistled for his owl and Phantom quickly came. He scribbled down a quick note,

Kat,

Where are you? Are you hurt? Are you okay? Please don't tell me you went back to him..? Kat, please come back. Im freaking out. Please reply to this.

James.

He gave it to Phantom to clutch in his claws and Phantom flew off. James sighed, she could be anywhere in the whole of England, he had never found out her address. He quickly apparated to Diagon Alley and started searching around that bit.

"Well, there's a lot of things you don't know about me ma belle." Scorpius whispered in her ear before sitting down across from her. "Really don't mention it. I don't really do anything for birthdays so relax." He smiled pouring some syrup over his pancakes and handing it to Lilli. With a wave of his wand he shut the window on the owl as it pecked for a while before taking off. "He'll be back." He muttered under his breath but was glad the owl left them alone.

Kat stepped out to the store the potion in a bag and headed back. The sight of James owl she smiled softly but when she read the letter she frown. She hated to make him go through this but it was necessary. Crumpling up the letter she tossed it aside before sending his owl back just giving it a treat. She pulled her black hood back up and covered her face but her colorful bangs stuck out. She cursed under her breath as they blew in the wind and kept her head down. People bumped into her because of the holiday shopping rush but somehow she managed to keep walking.

Lilli felt her insides clench together as she quickly translated 'ma belle.' ' Okay.' She said watching him do magic, ' Ah, I wish I could do magic when Im not at Hogwarts but I still have the trace on me. So yeah. Only another two months now and then I''l be free though.' She added. ' Thanks.' She said as he handed her the pancake.

James looked around, he couldn't see Kat anywhere. Hey, wait was that her? No. He ran his hands through his hair before turning to face the sign that said Knockturn Alley. It would be a scandal if Harry Potter's son was caught in Knockturn Alley so he put his hood up and ventured down.
