Scorpius nodded following behind Lilli and shoved his hands into his pockets. Artemis decided to stay on Lilli's shoulder as Scorpius softly smiled. Maybe the bird would bring her more comfort then he ever could. "It's a quiet night." He said closing his eyes and lifting his face towards the sky. He felt snowflakes hit him and melt away the second the touch as he smiled softly. "Thank you." Scorpius said softly even though she might not know why he was thanking her. He didn't plan on telling her either as he walked along side of her.

Lilli wanted to ask why but said no more as she walked down the pavement. 'So..' She said, ' Where do you want to eat? You want like a.. takeout?'. The snow was now settling on the ground ever so gently. Little snowflakes were falling everywhere. ' So.. I thought you were staying at Hogwarts for the holiday?' She asked nonchalantly, looking up at him.

"Whatever's fine with me." Scorpius just shrugged as the passed a pizza store. He headed in just to get away from the cold. The smell of tomato sauce and cheese hit his nose as he took out some money but not muggle money. "Here." He handed it to her a couple thousand galleons so she wouldn't exactly be paying for the food herself. "Sorry, I've got no muggle cash." Scorpius said sitting down remembering the question she had asked him. "I guess I got bored." He shrugged not knowing how to answer her questions without sounding like a stalker.

' Its fine.' She said handing him the money back, ' It doesn't cost that much money anyways.'. ' So what do you want?' She asked as she peered over the counter in desperatin trying to see the menu. She didn't really like pizza much but there was other things on the menu like salads and stuff.

"Just a slice will do." Scorpius said looking and pointing at a vegetarian slice. He waited patiently for the man to get it ready remembering they couldn't just use a heating spell. After getting his slice he turned to Lilli. "Well I'm sure you wanted a new broom right? Can't but one without a couple of thousand galleons." He smiled stretching out the money as the muggle looked at it an frown. "I hope your paying for the pizza in real money and not toy." He commented before going to serve the next customer.

' Its fine.' She persisted, smiling, ' Its only £2.75' She added handing the money over the counter. ' And how do you know I needed a new broom?' She asked curiously her head tilted to a side slightly as she looked at him.

"Well," Scorpius coughed realizing his slip up. "I..heard it floating around. The castle talk you know." He let out an awkward laugh. He didn't like lying to Lilli but he had know choice. If she knew what he had did she'd be disgusted and he would just be proving he was just a rotten as the rest of the Slytherins. Suddenly he didn't feel so hungry and pushed his slice away. It only had one bite taken out of it but hopefully Lilli wouldn't ask anything. "Anyways I heard you were looking for a new broom to quote: 'When I get a broom Malfoy's going down.' Scorpius smirked at the girl. He wondered if he'd be able to make her blush. She was too cute whenever she did.

She smiled lightly, and her cheeks tinged pink. ' Yeah well, its fine. Im going to get a job or something soon anyways.' She said, noting to herself to be more private about things so they wouldn't circulate. ' So, uh, where do you want to go now?' Lilli asked, looking at him quizzically.

"Why don't you show me what's so great about the muggle world?" Scorpius joked but then grabbed her hand dragged out of the pizzeria. Looking around he spotted a park and decided to go there. "Come on!" He laughed wanting to show Lilli the other side of him. The park was actually empty since it was so late at night but Scorpius didn't mind.

' Okay, Im up for the challenge.' She said, a quirky smile pulling at her red lips as she went with him, not realizing he was still holding her hand. 'Do you want to go on the swings?' She asked as she hopped on the swing and pushed off the ground so she was swinging back and forth.
