Hircine scowled, "You do wish to die. You are mad." He snapped and lunged to snap her neck and get it over with.

(Kill him! Kill 'em dead!)

Pepito, being the little hellspawn he was, just flipped Chimere off, leaving his dad and the damned around them laughing.

"Clinically!" Wolva laughed, dancing out of Hircine's grasp, her wound skinned over. Spinning around behind him, she drove both sets of claws into the small of his back, laughing insanely as she did.

Luckily for Pepito, Chimere didn't see his little act of rebellion. If she had seen, she probably would have killed him; or tried to kill him, anyway. Now back in the twisted room that had once been Dib's, she took the Soul Gem out of her pocket, stroking it thoughtfully. Placing it next to Nny's body, she looked at it, unsure of what it would do.

Hircine took in a sharp gasp of air at the sudden stab of pain. Black blood flowed out of the wound and evaporated the second it hit the ground. As he died, his body turned to stone, like usual, but then stopped. It didn't turn into light, or fire, or ashes, it stayed as a statue of him, one hand grasping his spear, his head thrust upward from the pain, and the hole in the small of his back where Wolva stabbed him. Oddly enough, neither his mask or his spear turned to stone. They stayed the same, bone and antlers and wood.

Johnny's body was still the same as Chimere left it, and so was the Soul Gem. Ever since Nny's soul was sucked up inside of it, it grew just a little darker, and just a little heavier. It seemed to glow a black light, maybe ultraviolet, but other than that nothing new happened.

Backing away as Hircine turned to stone, Wolva wondered why he wasn't disappearing like he had in the Dreamworld when he was burned. Probably some ruse of his. she thought, sitting back to watch what was happening.

Kneeling next to Nny's body and the Soul Gem, Chimere picked up the oblong artifact, stroking it with a talon. "How do you work, gem?" she whispered, studying it with glowing eyes. Hissing a few words of resurrection in her own tongue, she hoped to find out its secret soon, before she was disturbed by someone or something.

And yet, Hircine stayed dead, and his body stayed stone. Slowly, the spear fell out of his frozen right hand and clattered to the ground, along with the mask as it slid off of his face to reveal the true Hircine...

At first, nothing happened. The Black Soul Gem stayed in Chimere's hand, not responding. Almost a minute after she had whispered the words, it started to vibrate and shake, trying to get out of her grasp. Finally it flew directly at Nny and disappeared into his chest, leaving a black spot right there. The black seemed to 'drip' down his chest, leaving everything the same color, except for certain marks on his chest, arms, legs, eyes, and the horns that used to be his hair.

Stepping forwards as Hircine's mask and spear fell from his lifeless body, Wolva's face registered only confusion as she realized that the skull wasn't actually his face.

Jumping backwards as the stone flew from her hands, Chimere slowly returned to her original position, kneeling near Nny's shoulders. Watching as his form changed color, she wondered if this was normal practice for these Soul Gems. "Nny? Can you hear me?"

In fact, most of Hircine wasn't the "real" Hircine. The second his mask clattered to the ground, his entire body changed. He grew antlers of his own, the exact same ones on his mask down to the tiniest detail. He had fiery red hair with little elf-like ears poking out to match the sharp angles of his face. Small freckles appeared and his eyes turned black. His feet morphed into hooves as brown fur grew up his legs. And, just to sum up the whole package, a small deer tail poked out of his butt. Hircine took a gasp of air as he resurrected and his mask disappeared, leaving the newly changed god stuck like that.

(I dunno why I did this. )

At first, Nny didn't move. The only thing that did was the image on his shirt, moving from the scowling Happy Noodle Boy face to a heart with an arrow piercing it. And then, he gasping in air, only to cough it all up a second later.

Jumping backwards in surprise as Hircine changed shape, Wolva hissed at the new version, claws extended in case it wasn't friendly.

"Nny! You're alive!" Chimere murmured happily, not knowing if Nny was still going to have the splitting headache he had had previously. "Don't try to move. I don't want you hurting yourself."

(*sips coffee* Ew...needs more milk.)

Hircine paled and took in gasps of air, looking at himself. IT felt so...odd, not having his mask cover his face, or having this form. He picked up his spear, then looked over at Wolva and scowled, "You took my mask off, didn't you?" He hated having people see the real him, as it ruined some of the mystery around him. He would have let Wolva see, if she wasn't so independent, and not in love with him.

Johnny groaned and shut his glowing purple eyes. It hurt just to see, since this new form came with extremely good night vision, almost like an owls. Almost every part of him hurt, but his head hurt the worst. Still, he was alive, and Chimere was there, and that made it all better.

"No, actually, I didn't," growled a rather shocked and surprised Wolva. "I stabbed you in the back, you turned to stone, and your mask fell off. At no time did I ever touch your mask, Hircine."

Moving to sit by Nny's head, Chimere looked over the changes resurrection had brought to Nny. "Um...Nny?" she asked softly, noticing horns where hair had been. "Do you realize that your entire body has changed color and structure?" Wondering if he would appreciate touch at the moment, she refrained from putting a hand on his shoulder, settling instead for just admiring the change.
