( If you're wondering why I was gone so long, I was playing Half-life 2 again....Now I'm in a zombie filled town with almost no ammo, barely anything to throw with the gravity gun, and there's some insane Jesus-freak who's the last town survivor, living on cat-walks and preaching to me.....I think I'll take a break and eat cookies...)

Johnny looked up from his lap at Chimere, then glanced out the window. His world was a bit better than this place (thanks to him, and the fact that this place is much more dystopian, to the extreme) but he had to agree with her. There's no such thing as a good human civilization, "No. Not that I've seen, anyway."

"None?" Chimere asked, genuinely shocked. The world she had left was so far behind this place in terms of technology, yet so much more pleasant and clean. If this is what the human race would do to the planet, she had to get back, to stop the sickness before it started. "What a pity. I would have thought a race that spawned the visionaries that I have seen would have made a better future for themselves. How unfortunate that I'm not on my world. Just being here gives me a whole new set of reasons to eliminate your species."

(Got my neck hurts like hell....now my head hurts too. I tried laying down, but that didn't help. Dammit...)

Johnny chuckled. He agreed entirely with what Chimere said about killing all humans, but not about the "visionaries", "My world has no visionaries, besides a two people other than me. I wouldn't be surprised if there were that few good people in this world as well."

In other news, the lineart and shading for Kud-Ei is almost complete!))

"What an extraordinary pity," Chimere muttered, remembering the visionaries she had had the pleasure of mentally torturing. "They have such delicate minds, you know, such malleable minds that are so easy to twist and to torture. It's quite fun, really." Letting her gaze settle on Nny's face, she wondered if he was still thinking about what she had stumbled upon, and if it was safe to ever enter his mind again.

Johnny shrugged, happy that at least he had something to distract him from the little incident, "It wasn't fun to torture one of them. She didn't deserve it, just her ex-boyfriend." He said, remembering that girl from the midnight showing of Kafka, who mentioned that she liked his boots. Her boyfriend was great fun to torture, but he was taken here halfway through the electrocution process...

((The lines.... I figured out that I couldn't get the lines to work the way I wanted them to look on just Photoshop, so I'm drawing them with a pencil and paper, then inking them and doing the rest in Photoshop.))

Chimere raised her eyebrows slightly, unaware that Nny could feel remorse about one that he had tortured. "So why didn't you let her go?" she asked quietly, not wanting to prod the maniac too much. There were a few that I let go, but they were forever scarred. Kind of a pity, really, although what they created after my touch was always fantastic work.

(Ooohh....Okay! Hey, when's your birthday?)

"I was brought here before I could. I only let one man go, and that was just to see if the contents of my fridge were still good." Nny answered.

"You used a human to test the contents of your fridge?" Chimere asked, incredulous. "That's awesome! What else have you done?" Wait, why do I want to know? Why don't I want to kill Nny for the image that's probably still floating through his head?

(Okay then, that give me several months to come up with something...*goes off to find some virtual clay*)

Johnny chuckled, blushing a bit in flattery, "It was funny! Though i'm not sure if that milk really was okay..." He mumbled to himself and shrugged, "I've done a lot of things. I made a mechanic fix the elevator, but it broke down a week later. I gave acupuncture therapy to a woman, but with nails and ten thousand volts instead of the regular needles and ten volts. I've probably used every method of torture a human could perform."

"Wow," Chimere murmured, not noticing Nny's blush in the slightest. "And out of curiosity, whatever became of the blood of mine you collected off of the streets?" Sitting crosslegged on the Dib's bed, she watched Nny for any signs of aggression from her question. I hope he doesn't mind me asking these questions. His life makes mine seem almost normal...
