Johnny plopped down on Dib's bed, looking out the window. He pushed the mini-telescope aside so he could see properly, just watching the sky. He had nothing to do, and this was what he usually did. He didn't notice Chimere search through his mind, even as she found what he was hiding.

Whether or not Nny noticed Chimere's presence in his head, it was highly probable that Nny would notice Chimere falling on her face in absolute surprise. Curling up into a tiny ball, she twitched in the middle of the floor, eyes wide and unseeing. "Hhhgn...he....what?" she muttered to herself, thoughts completely disjointed and even more chaotic than normal.

Johnny slowly turned back to face Chimere, finally seeing that Chimere was a bit...off. Oh sh**... He thought and paled to a sickly white like the dead. He gulped and tried to slink off the bed and out of the house before she could wake up from whatever trance she was and kill him.

Sitting upright as Nny tried to sneak past her, Chimere's eyes twitched, the orbs finally able to see again. Still staring dead ahead at the wall in front of her, you could practically hear the Elder God's mind snapping into tiny pieces. "N-nny? W-what w-was t-that image in your h-head about?" she asked, still in a state of shock.

Nny cringed and froze in the doorframe. He thought of the possible outcomes to this situation; tell and get killed, run and get killed from looking suspicious, or kill himself now. Each outcome had the same chance of death (the suicide being at 100% percent, unlike the 50-50 chance for the other two) and he had a good five seconds to choose.

"Uhh...T-that was what I was trying to f-forget." He stammered, slowly turning back to look at her, "A-at the Wal-Mart...I'm t-trying, really..."

Relaxing slightly, Chimere finally blinked, no trace of anger in her eyes or in her body language. "Ah. Okay, then," she muttered, rubbing her eyes with a hand. "Just.....try not to think about that, please." Using the wall for support, she stood, still trying to comprehend what she had seen.

(AAAAH! *is terrified, since I was playing Half-Life 2 a second ago and had 7 health and like 10 guys chasing me*)

"Okay." Nny croaked out and leaned on the wall, slowly sliding down to sit up against it, hugging his knees and staring straight ahead at the weird little boy's pile of alien-capturing gizmos in the corner. He was surprised Cthulhu let him live after threatening him the last time, and her little breakdown a second ago.

Still covering most of her face with her hands, Chimere wondered why she wasn't feeling the urge to gut Nny for his thoughts. Sitting on the boy's bed, she watched the human intently, trying to see why he kept thinking about...that. Turning her thoughts inwards again, she realized that, beneath the shock, she didn't really mind....

(YAAAAAY! *noms cookies* *is killed in game* dammit...)

Johnny shut his eyes and lowered his head, trying his best to not think of Chimere naked, no matter how how much his stupid male instincts wanted him to. He tried to imagine the things that usually kept him from remembering his humanity; murder, eating people, anonymously giving organs to hospitals, etc, but that image just kept popping up every time he thought he was free.

Blinking to clear her mind, Chimere stared out the window at the city, once again disgusted by the humans around her. "Nny?" she asked, breaking the silence. "Are all human cities like this? Is there such thing as a decent human civilization?" Turning from the horrible vista visible through the window, she watched the maniac with eyes that glowed with an unusually curious fire.
