This portal Nny made much larger than usual. It was going to be quite a long jump, and he couldn't hold the portal open that long. Once it was finished, Johnny quickly stepped through, hoping he placed the end at the correct spot.

The world Johnny had opened a portal into was a strange one, at best. It was marshy, smelled like a cross between a swamp and a butcher's house, and there were....things watching them from the darkness. The moon was akin to the eye of a drowned sailor, and blood dripped sickeningly down its face, illuminating the scene in a foul corpselight. This was the world Great Cthulhu had been spawned on; this was the world where one would find the Master of Gates Between Worlds, the only one who could truly reach Azathoth without going through Kadath.

Johnny stumbled, nearly falling into what looked like a swamp, but instead of water, it had a black oil-like substance. The air smelled like death and rotting plants, and something was in the shadows, watching them. A feeling of home and horrible regret filled Nny. He was sure Tiamat felt the same.

Tiamat, surprisingly, wasn't bothered by this strange place; only the fact that they were being watched disturbed her. Daddy? What is this place? she chirped, feeling strangely at home in this strange world. Far off in the distance, she saw a portal opening, two figures stepping into the glowing ring of light, and then the portal closing. Was that them?

Johnny watched the horizon, glaring at a sudden burst of light and two hominid figures stepped through. This is where your mother was born. He said and started walking toward the figures. Might be.

Moira smiled, perfectly content to relax, now that the coast was apparently clear. She didn't see the watcher in the water, and was unaware of the danger...

That would make sense... I've had dreams of here.... Tiamat replied, looking around her curiously. Watching the figures as her father walked towards them, she growled in annoyance as the pair disappeared into another portal before any details could be seen.
