[Blu Malinois]

"It's Aeria, again. Every blood moon she tends to come over here. I forgot it was going to be blood moon tonight." Yuko replied and watched as she didn't fight, at least not yet. Instead, she was dodging their blows from swords, daggers, arrows, you name it and the townspeople probably had it. "But at least they're ready to fight, which is good. Normally they aren't."

"...Aeria..." Koza walked out in the open. "Aeria! Stop this! Please!" He called her name over and over again. He wanted her safe, not killing people, he wanted her to be close to him, where she would be safe and out of danger.

[Blu Malinois]

Aeria quickly stopped once she heard her name and looked over at Koza with bright red eyes. "Hey! Back off! Yeah, don't try to help her! She's a monster and will kill us all! No matter what!" A few people from the crowd yelled at Koza. Aeria took her gaze away from Koza once one person swung at her with a sword, dodging it. She then walked over to Koza, ignoring the angry people who all glared. Aeria looked like she recognized Koza, but then suddenly that look disappeared and she pinned Koza to a wall with a growl. "I don't know you, back off." She then let go of him immediately when an arrow hit her in the leg. Aeria limped backwards a few steps before falling to the ground. The crowd didn't hesitate to flock around her in both pride and anger.

Yuko couldn't stand to watch this. It reminded him too much of his friend. Quietly, he turned and sneaked away. He returned to Koza's house, picking up the basket he had hidden from saya in the bushes near her house. Yuko then went to where the accident happened not too long ago and sat down on an empty dock by the water. He held the basket in his lap and stared out at the water, tears streaming steadily down his face. He had told her he wanted to protect her...and he had failed.

Koza saw the people all coming to finnish the demon off when gun shots ran out from behind them. They all turned but got there head sliced off. Koza looked toward the fog and a pair of bright yellow eyes stared at the men.

[Blu Malinois]

Aeria whimpered quietly then looked over at the yellow eyes. She stayed where she was, unsure of what to think about the eyes. Would it come over and try to finish her off? Aeria kept completely silent as she waited cautiously.

Saya came out of the fog with a katana in her hand and the other a gun. Her hair was shorter and her lips were red. She looked at Koza and then turned and walked away.

"Saya..." She was alive...how? That wasnt possible. Koza wanted to get up but he couldnt move.

[Blu Malinois]

Aeria watched as Saya went away before she grabbed onto the arrow. Even though it hurt, she pulled it out of her leg then snapped it in half with a faint growl before tossing the two pieces aside. Aeria managed to stand up, ignoring the fact that she had just gotten hit with an arrow. She started to walk away from koza silently without even the slightest limp.

Yuko stayed where he was as he cried softly. "I'm sorry Saya.....I'm so sorry...." He whispered.

"Are you going to leave me too...Areia." Koza swallowed standing up. "I know what you told me...you lookse controll, but that doesnt mean you have to avoide me!"

Saya suddenly stopped, hearing Yuko crying she came into veiw and knew that this was indeed her friend but her head told her that he wasnt...it was the liqued the Shadow gave to her. "Boy, stop crying." She told him.

[Blu Malinois]

Aeria stopped then turned and looked at him. The red in her eyes slowly began to fade away and she tilted her head. "K-Koza?" She asked then took a few steps over to him. Her eyes remained red, but they weren't as red as before. Aeria smiled faintly as she looked at him.

Yuko blinked when he heard a voice, it sounded like saya's almost but it was too tough to be hers. "Well excuse me for caring about losing my friend!" He snapped. "I was an idiot for leaving her alone and now she's gone. I told her I wanted to protect her but I failed already at doing that. Just....leave me alone. I'm going to cry if I want to cry." He didn't look over at her, only kept his gaze on the water.

Koza sowly reached out a hand. "You regognized me...please come out of it. Come back...come back to me." He tried not to cry but tears fell anyway. "I now know the feeling Yuko has, protection and need for a friend. I dont want to be alone..."


Saya narrowed her eyes softly. "Sometimes, things arent always what they seem. You cant always be there for the person." She raised a gun toward Yuko's head but just couldnt fire. Why! She struggled and for some reason full tears fell from her eyes and she hissed and whipped them away. After a momant she lowered her gun and lowered her head. "Forgive me...Yuko." She turned and walked away.
