Olive shook her head, "you may never be able to become a bird again if you dont get your arm healed. And this will help, I made it myself" Olive said with a smile, then rubbed some of the cream on Katana's swollen, broken arm. She could tell the swelling was going down already.

Katana winced at first but it began feeling better, "but, being a bird also means never talking again, not being able to get into hotels, not meeting boys, and no thumbs." She sighed and looked at Olive, "What if I get killed by hunters?"

Olive frowned, "isn't that against the law" she said 'law' slightly strange, because she hadn't heard it much. "To kill a person's pet?" she asked.

"well, I'm not really considered a pet. Skyle only needs me when we go hunting. otherwise I'm a free bird, literally." Katana glanced at the other bedroom's doorway.

Olive nodded, "I guess, but in this form you have pain" she said with saddness in her tone.

Katana nodded, "yeah. I guess I'm screwed either way." She laughed softly.

Olive frowned, "Im sorry" she said, as if it were her fault that Katana was hurt.

Katana smiled, "don't be. I'm fine, truthfully." She yawned, "gah, when is Skyle waking up? He's been asleep fro like.... 8 minutes."

Olive nodded, a slight smile on her face, "well he hasn't been sleeping for long" then she glanced at the kitchen, and Wolf making the pancakes.

Wolf poured the last of the batter onto the skillet, then began flipping the last pancakes. "You people hungry?" She asked, grinning. She gestured at a plate full of pancakes with her spatula. "Take what you will eat."
