Despite himself, Brendan heard a laugh- his. "That is pretty funny. You know what else?" He leaned up on his elbow. "Adolf Hitler was part Jewish!"

Jet chuckled. "You know, some things in the world just don't make sense." he said, sitting up with a shake of his head.

"I know. People are crazy. Civilization is crazy. All of them have mush for brains or something. I can't believe we live in this messed-up world." Brendan sighed and smiled slightly at Jet. "I'm actually pretty relieved that I got a roommate who's not so crazy."

"Back at you. And just adding to our list of messed up things, the world will not end in 2012. The world will end in like, 24 centruries." Jet said. He was surprised in most ways that Brendan didn't dislike him, but he was happy for it.

"I don't believe that end-of-the-world crap either." Brendan admitted. "I don't think we will ever know when it will end... The bible says that, and I believe it." I hope he doesn't ridicule me for believing in the bible...

Jet smiled. "Yeah, and anyways ifthe world ends it will because the sun will get really old and like, explode or something." he said with a sarcastic face. "Sometimes I wonder what goes through some peoples minds." Jet said.

"Junk. Just... Pure junk." Brendan shook his head and rolled over on the bed. "It's like the world's programmed or something, for evil."

Jet laughed. "Haha. I think like, 9% of the world is sane anymore." Jet stated before collapsing once again onto his bed.

"Naw, it's more like 5%." Brendan laughed too and checked his watch. "WHOA! It's time to go to Biology class!" Leaping up, he grabbed his backpack and was out the door in a split second.
