Jet nodded and looked at the skull with a puzzled face. He could tell it was important to Brendan my the look it his eyes.

Brendan caught the curious look Jet gave him and quipped, "Got this from a friend before he hung himself. I've had it for a long time now... And I've sorta come to like it..."
Getting up, he set to work on getting his clothes in the closet and putting his Metallica bedspread angled just right on the bedspread. Last came his black and silver bass. Though he couldn't Jam with his band anymore, he could still practice.

"Cool" Jet said as he watched Brendon. He couldn't actually help being a drag queen, and he really didn't want to be one. But, he had ended up like that.

He finally got his half of the room perfect, and with a grunt of approval Brendan collapsed on his bed, and closed his eyes, listening to the sounds around the dorm. Horns honking, someone playing ACDC Across the street... the little sounds of Jet moving around...

Jet didn't really have very much that he brought, so he sat on the bed. "Hey Brendan, did you want to be goth?" Jet questioned.

"Yes. I've always thought it's pretty cool to be goth." Brendan answered, opening one eye to look at Jet. "My big brother Seth got me into it. He was always the one getting all the popularity at school. I wanted to be like him, so I started dressing and acting goth."

Jet nodded, really not knowing what to say. It didn't really seem that Brendan hated him, and that was always a good sign.

Naaah, Brendan didn't hate Jet; He was actually glad for a little companionship. Sure, he was a drag queen, but that didn't matter; he may dress like a girl, but that didn't mean that he was a girl. He had been scared at first, but Brendan had come to like him a little as Jet had warmed to him.

"Hey Brendan. You know the guy that made Mickey Mouse?" Jet said,smiling.
