Kiah yawned as she walked towards school. She never was a morning person and that hadn't changed since she'd been..Well, changed. She shifted the Thomas The Tank Engine bag that was slung over her right shoulder so she was more comfortable and decided she'd just have to deal with being a monster.

Vinron smiled as he ran his hands through his hair, hurrying to get to school. He grabbed his bag and ran out the door, having a apple in his other hand. He bit into it hungrily, blaming his mother entirely for his lateness. She should've woken him up, but she said he hadn't slept properly in a while. He ran at his top speed, needing to get to school quickly. His eyes flickered everywhere as he ran, trying not to bump into anything. His plan didn't work, as he bumped into a girl with red hair. "Sorry, sorry!" He apologised, picking himself up from the ground and offering her his hand.

Kiah was suddenly on the ground. How'd that happen?, She thought as she grabbed the persons hand and was pulled to her feet. "No, it was my fault. Thank you for helping me up." She said, keeping her eyes down. She bent and picked up her bag, slinging it back over her shoulder, then looking up to meet the persons gaze. She froze and her eyes widened. "Uhm...Hi.." She said, stupidly. It's just a guy. Guy's are harmless. He won't hurt you.., She thought. Pssh, you're not scared of him..He's cute.., She finished finally, managing to smile, very slightly.

Vinron returned the smile, glancing over her. "I'm Vinron." He said, letting go of her hand and letting his own fall to the side. For some odd reason, the girl had frozen, almost like she was afraid of him. He bit his lip, thinking over some things. The girl's hand had been cold, but that was probably because it was winter? His imagination was over the top these last weeks, seeing vampires everywhere. He snapped out of his thoughts, glancing back at the girl. She seemed to be pretty, and also new.

"I-I'm Kiah. Kiah Kiryuu. Nice to meet you, Vinron." Kiah said, flashing him a cute but awkward little smile. Ohmygollygosh. He bit his lip. That's adorable. The thought drifted through her mind, but she ignored it. "Sorry for not moving out of your way. You seemed to be in a hurry.." She said, still smiling, slightly. Wierd, how she'd stopped stuttering, but was still pretty..nervous..

Vinron shook his head. "It's okay." He said, looking down at the floor. He bit his lip harder, almost piercing skin with his teeth. He stopped when he felt the soft pain then decided it was time he ran off again, avoiding a awkward situation with the pretty girl-Kiah, he reminded himself. "Well, I-ah- got to go." He paused, "Nice meeting you, Kiah. See you around." And with that, he smiled softly at her again and continued his run. A small card fell out his bag, landing by Kiah. Know a vampire? We've got you covered. It said in curly writing, and had a small picture of fangs at the top edge.

Kiah practically melted. When she was on the ground and was about to stand up, she noticed the card. Plucking it from the ground, she stood up and read the card, which made her heart stop. She dropped the card and took two steps back. "New plan. Stay away from yummy new guy." She said, under her breath. She picked up the card, glared at it, shoved it in her pocket and stomped off towards the school. Every guy I meet- all the time- seems to want to do something horrible to me. But this..This is new. This guy wants to kill me. I bet his cute guy act was just an act. She thought as she pushed through the front doors and headed towards her first class.
