Blackpaw
Pleased that he could offer some sort of information in return, Blackpaw gave his chest fur a couple of thoughtful licks, wondering where to begin. "Well," he began, watching a bird flit from one tree to the next, "I was born in a twoleg village, about three day's travel from here. My mother was a house-cat—a kittypet, as you call them—and my father was what's known as a stray, or a loner. I didn't like the life of a kittypet, so I became a loner as soon as I could. I ate whatever I could catch, occasionally hunting through the twoleg's bins that they put food and such in when they don't want it anymore. It's odd, I know," he said, with a slight shrug. "But anyways, I caught birds and squirrels mostly. You wouldn't believe how fat the squirrels got! They weighed more than I did, practically." He let out a small purr of amusement at the look on Thistlefoot's face.
