(Wait, is it Skuttle or Scuttle? Because I keep saying Scuttle. When I named him Scuttlepaw, I was thinking of how beetles scuttle across the ground. XD I dunno why.
Also, I'm going to try out a new format for my posts...:3)
Pebblepaw
Pebblepaw grinned. "Wow, that's cool!" She flicked her tail and scooted a little closer to the new apprentice. "What did you do for food? Did you go to Twolegs and eat some of that pellet-stuff my father told me about? Did you catch mice?" She gasped. "DID YOU STEAL FROM SHADOWCLAN?"
Emberkit
Emberkit bounded up to get a good look at the new cat. Before the black and white tom could say anything in response to Pebblepaw, he burst between them and meowed, "Hey! It's not fair that you get to be an apprentice! I wanna be one too!" Then, as if to show off how skilled he was, the young kit pounced heavily on a leaf nearby and showed it to Blackpaw. "See? I'm a good - pwah!" he spat the leaf out - " - hunter!"
Mistcloud
"Emberkit, come back here!" Mistcloud scolded in embarrasment. It wasn't so much the fact that Emberkit had disobeyed her orders not to bother anyone, it was that he was around that new apprentice, Blackpaw. She didn't trust him. Not yet. To her, it seemed a little strange that he would just show up and ask to be a part of the Clan.
Mistcloud slipped behind her son and scooped him up, and, ignoring his protests ("Mom! I can walk on my own! Lemmegooo!"), trotted back to the nursery.
Jackalfur
Jackalfur stood beside Scuttlepaw and eyed Blackpaw curiously. He, too, wanted to learn more about this new apprentice, now that he would be a member of the Clan someday. "Hey, Blackpaw, now that you're part of our Clan you'll have to prove you really want to be here, and you're not just one of those cats who's in it for the thrill and leaves as soon as it gets too hard or too boring." He narrowed his eyes.
