Merr could feel her relax when around him, it was comforting for him as well to have her so close. As with her, he was oblivious to the thinning of the fog, but he didn't care whether they were seen or not. He didn't want to leave her side, but the singing was stronger than ever... It distracted him from the kiss, making him break it and look around. What is it?

Jade looked at him, and regained her composure, although, in her mind, she was wishing that she was still kissing him. It was a nice break frm being captain of her crew. "I suspect mermaids......" She trailed off as a ship came into view, only just, and it was a sillouette, but she pulled her spyglass from his pocket and looked through it, before putting it away. "Spaniards. Looks like the crew brought some entertainment. A group of women singing." She smiled, clearly happy about the fact. "Get on deck, you scurvy dogs! Looks like we've got time for a plunder!" This would be good.

I hope it isn't mermaids... You know how much I like them... He watched as the sillouette of the ship appeared... Jade had the spyglass, so she'd soon tell him whose ship it was... Eyes wide with surprise as she actually told him who it was, he frowned... Spaniards? Spanish women? Count me in... It was obvious from the tone of his voice, and his eyes that for a moment he'd forgotten about his relationship with Jade, but he quickly regained his memory... Jade, of course I'd much rather be with you? Smiling sheepishly, blushing.

Melody rushed out of the galley at Jade's yell, heading for the stairs that went below deck. She saw the captain and Merr locked in a passionate kiss, grimaced, and made a gagging sound before turning to go down the stairs. Suddenly, though, a light broke through the fogbank. The thick mist began to clear, and a ship came into view. At Jade's shout she stepped backwards up the stairs and wrung her hands for a moment, not sure what she should do. She wasn't a fighter, just a cabin girl. "Captain!" she called, turning to Jade. "What'sit you need me t' do?"

I have nothing against this roleplay and it was pretty fun while i played but I'm not that involved in it and I don't really see where Ella's story could go. Jade looked at the cabin girl carefully. "Stay out of danger. I haven't time to teach you anything." She ordered, and looked forwards. The spaniard ship was coming closer. "Raise the sails boys! We need the wind to gain on our prey!" She held the Pearl steady, grinning widely. "So you should Merr. So you should."
