Merr looked up at Jade, frowning as she noticed his leg... I'll be fine. Just gotta get up. Trying to stand up on one leg while the other was injured was difficult, especially from the position he was sitting in... So it took him a while to actually stand. Hearing two splashes from the side of the ship, he limped over, eyes wide as he noticed it was Jade down there, and Patric was trying to escape again... There was nothing he could do to help her but stand and watch... If he had to, he'd dive in after her, but he wasn't sure quite how bad his leg was... Sure he had been fine before in the water, but he had been in shock, so he wouldn't have felt anything anyway. Eyes watching her as she got into the long boat, he loosened the main sail so it didn't catch as much wind, so the Pearl was moving slower than usual. Just so Patric could catch up easier. Jade... Are you alright?

Jade nodded. "I'm fine. Patric feels he doesn't belong on the Pearl, but he's promised he will come back. One thing I know about Patric is that he keeps his promises." She ran her hands along the Pearl's wheel, her eyes closed. When she opened them, she looked straight at her first mate."Go and rest Merr." She ordered, even though she was standing mainly on her unijured leg herself.

Smirking at Jade, he shook his head. It took me a while to get you to sleep. I won't be any easier unless you plan on joining me. Even injured he hadn't lost his personality. Eyes sparkling with mischief, he limped over to her, leaning against the side of the ship. I'm sorry about before. I should have been more careful, but the sirens... Sighing softly, he hung his head, disappointed in himself.

Jade just smiled, nudging him with her elbow. "I know what you're like. You couldn't help it. Just be greatful I was the one who came to my senses first and saved you. Besides, the water cleaned my wound. Oh, you don't have to finish that fiddle if you don't want to.Patric says w can keep it to remember him by."

Jack was free from the sirens finally. He was grateful for this, but he was still a bit confused. Everything had happened so fast and now everyone seemed to be perfectly calm. he hoped he hadn't fainted, but he knew he probably had. He slowly got up, wondering where they were going, another thing he'd missed in his confusion with the sirens.

Merr smirked at Jade, wrapping his arms around her neck. I might finish it anyway, to remind me of my old man. He used to make me carve them for him, then he'd sell them and share the profit with me. Unless you want me to make it into something else for you? Need anything? Chuckling softly, he looked up at the horizon, sighing. Patric was going to be alright but would they? They didn't have a cook any more...

" don't think I need anything." Jade noticed his face slightly. "What are you thinking about Merr?" She asked, trying to ignore the fact that his arms were around her nek, and the fact that she just wanted to lean into him, and forget everything. Bt she culdn't. No, she had to keep her ship steady.

Merr looked down at her, frowning. I was thinking about what we're going to do without a cook. Medicine I can do, but cooking... No. Chuckling softly, he thought back to the last time when he had cooked... Jade had been ill for a day or two... It had been quite funny for him but not for her. I hope you're going to get someone else to cook, you know what happened last time you got me to cook.

(Got away from the sirens, Patric tried to escape, Jade tried to stop him, which ended up in her being in the water once mor. Patric saved her, made sure she got back to the Pearl, hen disappeared into the fog. Jade and Merr are talking about getting a new cook.)

Jade smirked. "Didn't you nearly burn your eyebrows off and half of your hair?" She teased. "Besides, this time we have cook books. I'm sure you can read. And we'll all pitch in. All of us."
