Jumping to his feet, all thoughts of his hangover gone, Alex raced over to where a couple of the crew were crowded round Jade. "What was all that about?" He asked, to no one imparticular as he looked around the group, his gaze finally resting on Jade. "Are you okay Cap'n?"

Swiftly following Elena and Alex, she took in the sight of Jade being carried away by Merr. Grimacing at the sight of her wounds, she glanced around at the others, waiting for an explanation. She'd been too caught up in all of the fighting to notice what had happened to her Captain.

Jade turned her head to look at Alex. "I'm fine. It was Blackbeard's daughter." She explained. "Now, if you don't mind, I'd ike to get to my room." She smirked, and looked at Merr. "Quickly." Her hand was still applying pressure to the wound, where the blood was now only a trickle, but her pants were soaked and stained red. They'd have to get rid of them. Good job she had extras.

Sighing with relief, he turned away from the group, feeling slightly crowded as he made his way towards the other end of the ship. Standing by the bow, he put his hands on the side, leaning forward as he looked down at the water. Feeling a cut on his cheek, he wiped the blood away with the back of his hand, pulling his jacket closer around him.

Skyra watched Alex out of the corner of her eye uncertainly, her expression guarded. After a moment's hesitation, she left the group of pirates and walked over to him. Without saying a word, she rested her arms on the edge of the boat, looking out to sea. "Tough battle, wasn't it?" She commented breezily, but avoided his gaze.

Now aware of being in Skyra's company again, Alex turned to face her, his ocaen blue gaze sweeping over her as he searched for any wounds she had from the fight. "I guess so..." Pausing, he froze as his gaze rested on a cut. "Hey, are you ok?" He asked, a deep frown appearing on his face as he stood up straight, his attention on Skyra.

Smirking at Jade, Merr walked into her quarters, placing her on her bed. Tearing the material from one of his trouser legs, then taking off his belt, he wrapped the material around her wound then tied it with the belt. Feeling any better? Smiling reassuringly down at her, he pulled up something for him to sit on, to stay by her side while she recovered... I promise you Jade, I won't leave your side until you're fully recovered...

"Hey, I'm fine. Just a little bruised up, and shocked that my own mother tried to kill me." She smiled, wincing slightly as a sharp pain came from the wound. She raised a hand before he could say anything. "Don't worry. But I need some pirate to take charge of the ship." She looked meaningfully at him. "And where's my hat?"

Jack was still up on deck, he had come out of the fight relatively uncathed, just a few cuts and bruises on his arms and face. He saw no-one was at the wheel so took care of it for a while, hoping someone more capable might come soon. ((WB))
