Feeling hands grab her leg, Jade struggled. But she was soon sprawled on the floor, her mother holding her down. She slapped her mother's face, and kicked her leg as her mother drove a dagger into her daughter's arm, creating a nice little scar in the shape of a cross. One eactly the same to the one her father had had on his cheek. She rolled sideways, causin her mother to fall. Quickly, with no remorse, she held her sword above her head and swung it down, chopping a few fingers of her mother's hand. "Now leave. Jack Sparrow is dead. But his legacy lives on. In me." Her mother leapt up, slashing one last time at Jade's leg and boarding her own ship, hr crew following. Jade watched them go and then fell to the floor, her leg feeling like a large fire. Looking at it, she noticed her pants staining with blood where the wound was. Quickly pulling it up, she saw a long, deep wound in her leg, from just below her knee to just above her ankle.

Merr rushed to Jade's side, putting pressure on the injury to stop the bleeding. "Ssh. It's alright." She hadn't said anything, but he knew that she would have if he hadn't said... She would probably speak anyway... Declining help more than likely... It was a shame that he wasnt going to listen, no matter what she said. Who was that? She seemed awfully familiar?

Ella looked around and she saw the rival crew retreating with their captian yelling order to get back. Jade had givin her some awefully nice wounds that the rivial captian wouldn't forget about in a hurry. Ella looked closer. The captain looked very familer, she looked like Jade! Running up to Jade she saw Merr already at her side. "jade what happened?!" she looked at the deep wound glancing at Merr she said in a lower voice "do you know who that was?"

Gabe was sword fighting with another pirate, parrying back and forth. He stabbed the pirate in the stomach and pushed hum away. He looked over at the captain. She looked injured. He was curious what had happened. The rival crew was retreating, and Gabeput his sword back in it sheath.

Jade tried to push Merr away, pain dancing in her light brown eyes. "I'll be fine...." She told him, but closing her eyesas he applied pressure to the wound. It felt better when he did that. "I know who it was.... Remember Father's lover?" She opened her eyes once more, and looked down at the wound. The bloodflow was slowing. She felt light-headed, so she held her head, noticing her hat wasn't there, but her sword was at her side. "Remember Edward Teach's daughter?"

jack had been fending off a few pirates, one with each sword, but now as the captain drew back, so did all of the rival crew. he looked at them, then his gaze feel to an injured Jade. He wondered what had happened, btu a crowd was already forming around her. So Jack stayed back, sitting on a barrel, glaring at the pirates on the other ship.

Merr's eyes were wide with shock... Wait, you mean that she was...? Gulping, he gently stroked her cheek with one hand, keeping the pressure on with the other. Jade, I'm going to carry you into your quaters whether you like it or not, just warning you. I want the rest of you to make sure that we're alone... I don't want to risk more injury to the Cap'n. Sighing softly, he picked her up and turned away to walk into her quaters... She needed rest, but he'd have to keep an eye on her, to make sure her condition didn't worsen.

Jade looked at his face, wishing she could walk. "I know. She was my own mother. And, for some reason, she has Barbossa's old ship. She's Blackbeard's daughter, as I'm his grandaughter." Her own hand had gravitated to the wound, and she applied as much pressure as she could muster as Merr carried her to her cabin.

Ella walked along side or Jade listing to her tell her story. "her own mother" she whispered. "flashing a glance at merr she said quietly so nly he could hear. "lets not ask too many questions right now. She need oto rest and get bandaged up"

Thinking thoughtfully, Elena followed Skyra's gaze, a sly smile playing on her lips as she spotted what the girl was looking at. About to reply, she was cut short by Jade's yell, the osund spurring her into action. Unseathing her cutlass, she looked around, her eyes narrowed and her eyebrows knitted into a deep frown.
