Tessa followed him, and when he stopped, she stopped beside him, scanning the throng of people for someone who would look like a pirate captain. Obviously female, there was no doubt about that, but she couldn't be sure what Jade looked like.

Hearing someone call her name, she turned away from the young man she was questioning, her brown eyes quickly finding the shape of Merr through the crowd. However, jealously flared up inside her at the sight of a women beside him. So she strode over, figuring she better see what is was and ask a few questions herself. "Found anything?" She asked once she was nearer, ignoring Tessa completely.

Yeah, I found something. Jade... I'd like you to meet someone very special to me Beaming at Jade, he looked to his side, at Tessa. She could introduce herself to the Captain... Catching his drift, Jade nodded. "Ah. Well, as you probably know, I'm Captain Jade Sparrow." She held out her hand, feeling she might as well be polite. If they were close to Merr, she couldn't afford to be harsh.

With a quick glance at Merr, she held out her own hand, shaking it with Jade. "I'm Tessa-Rose. Merr's older sister." She replied. "After finding my dear brother," She said, sarcasm present in her voice. "We had a little chat. He wants me to join your crew." She watched as Jade raised an eyebrow at her brother, asking him silently why he had said this.

Merr grinned at the two of them as they exchanged names and shook hands. Well it was nice to see them both so polite, although he was sure it wasn't going to last. No doubt they'd start talking about him and the torture would never end... Oh the embarrassement both could cause him. Thanks Tessa... I really appreciate it It was lovely to know what she really thought of him... She could have at least tried to hide the sarcasm. What? Jade, I haven't seen anyone in my family since I was 18. My eldest brother is in the military so I'm not going to see him, my father, mother and youngest sister I don't really want to see, and my middle brother... Who knows where he is His point was clear, as much as he loved Jade, he wanted a piece of his family.

"Oh fine. She can come." She agreed, knowing that if she didn't, he'd continue to bug her as to why she said no. "However, have you asked her about the dragon?" She wouldn't let her on unless she knew something. The payment was fair.

Tessa sighed to herself. She should have known that there was a catch. They were, after all, pirates. But she was silent, letting them talk. As part of the crew now, she gathered that she shouldn't talk, but she would, if she had to. What was the point of being silent?
