A shuffling of feet was muffled by those that followed behind as an older pirate slipped away from the half of he crew that wa still awake. His hands felt numb and raw after climbing the rigging all day, but he clenched them anyway, rapping on the door to Merr's cabin. Nat had told him and one othe crew member to wake the captain and first mate, so that was what he was doing. "Mister Padfoot?" He asked tentatively, hoping the younger man wouldn't blow up in his face.

No need for the mister. What is it? Door's open. Yawning widely, he rubbed his face, ruffling his hair back into place. The crew should be too used to seeing him walking around the ship without too much clothing, so it shouldn't come as too much of a shock to the older pirate. Or rather, he should expect it before hand...

Nodding to himself, the man walked in, giving a slight bow to him. "Nat told me to wake you. It's nightfall." He told the man, ignoring the fact that Merr had very little clothing on. Not that he could be blamed. It did get very warm out there, and no pirate wanted to sleep in all their clothes. "She sent another rigger to go and wake the cap'n."

Alright. You're dismissed. Get some rest. Standing up and stretching out, the younger man walked across from the bed, putting on some trousers and draping a shirt over his shoulders. Yawning once more, and trying to shake himself awake, he stepped out of his cabin. Jade would be up soon, she could do the steering. He hated doing that...

He nodded and retreated out of the cabin, quickly joining the rest of the crew in the bowels of the ship. He climbed into his hammock and tried to sleep, noticing that his crew mates were waking up the crew that were needed on deck.

Walking out onto deck, having one last stretch, he looked up at the night sky, smiling to himself. Taking a deep breath, he took a step towards the wheel, relieving Nat of her job. Get some rest. Catching her gaze, he smiled charmingly, receiving a light slap from her, then a smirk from him. Actually doing up his shirt, he tilted his head back slightly so that his neck caught the breeze, at the expense of his hair looking nice... Oh well. It was only Jade and the crew that would see him. They'd all seen him look worse.

Rolling over, she screwed up her face in the pillow, not wanting to get up. But she had to. So she climbed out of bed slowly, and rubbed her eyes. Just looking around her cabin, she could tell it was night. Good. Walking to the door, she pulled her boots and coat on, placing the hat on her head at just the right angle. Walking out, she stiffled a yawn, turning to look up at the helm. Merr was there. He could steer for a while.

Hearing footsteps very familiar to him, Merr smirked although didn't try and look at Jade. Jade. Are the crew up yet? His ears were still pretty fuzzy after sleeping, so he couldn't hear the others. They worked like ghosts sometimes, probably to reduce the risk of being slaughtered by their Captain or First Mate. Well. It's a nice... evening? Port and Barbossa are behind us. Just the open seas. It brought a smile to his face as he closed his eyes, momentarily, and really just took the time to listen to the waves.
