Sighing, she entered the cabin, looking at him curiously. Why was he sleeping in her bed? Idiot. So she closed the door behind her, pulling off her new boots ad placing them beside the doorframe. Then she took of her hat and placed it on the coatpeg, and removed her coat, hanging it up beside her hat. Once done, her chocolate gaze traveled back to him. Should she leave him or not? Deciding nt to think about that just yet, she walked silently past the bed, rummaging in her drawer for her nightclothes. Once changed she sat on the end of the bed, features alight with thought.

Sleeping silently, the curled up first mate rolled over, hiding his face with his arm. He was certainly comfortable, but whether Jade would be, he didn't actually know. Not that it really mattered to him in such a state of bliss. Jade had the right to kick him off her bed, if she wanted him gone, but whether she wanted him gone or not was the question...

Pulling a face like a small child, she stood. No use in sleeping with the curtain wide open. Pulling them closed, she welcomed the dark, closing her eyes and taking deep breaths. She enjoyed the dark more like this. When her eyes snapped open, she walked back to the bed, features showing her determination. As much as she loved Merr, she couldn't let the crew get too suspicious. Knowing them...... She shuddered but pulled the covers away from his torso, wanting to see how he reacted the slight coolness.

Merr whined softly as Jade removed the cover from over him. Rolling over, he blinked open his eyes, staring across the bed at her. Why was she staring at him so weirdly? He was wearing clothing? Yes he was in her bed, but it was really comfortable... He couldn't help it.

She shook her head, and poked him in the stomach. "I know you love my bed, but haven't you see enouh of it as of late?" She asked, sitting down next to him. He had really seen her bed much more than his own in the past couple of days. Not that she minded, but they couldn't have the crew getting the wrong idea.

Merr whined again, staring up at Jade with rather effective puppy dog eyes. For a murderer, he could really look innocent, but hey, he lied to people for a living. Practically. Not that Jade couldn't see through his lies any time she wanted, she really did know him too well for that. Come on Jade, we're not exactly very secretive as it is. The crew doesn't seem to care all that much, as long as you kick them in the right direction, they're alright?

"It's not that. Just the fact that if you're in here all the time, they might get the wrong impression." She told him. "Anyway, that isn't quite enough room." She reasoned, chuckling a little. "You need to spend some time in your new cabin, anyway. Not quite as grand as mine, but it's better than the main area."

Frowning, Merr got to his feet, getting off the bed. Fine. Slinging his shirt and trousers over his shoulder, he kissed her goodnight and wandered out of her cabin, closing the door behind him. Crossing over to his cabin in boxer shorts, receiving a rather weird look from Nat, but not really caring. Curling up on his own bed, he pulled the covers over him, settling down immediately into a light sleep. Jade would wake him up later, he was sure of it.

She watched him go, laughing softly to herself, and slid under the covers, her nose against the pillow. A musk scent was residing there, and she recognised it as Merr. Snuggling down into the bed, she closed her eyes, waiting for sleep to take over her and deliever her to unconciousness.
