As she was pinned, she squirmed, her hand resting on his chest as she tried to push him off, not really wanting to. "Maybe, but it's more fun that way." She paused, looking at his eyes. "Seduce Barbossa? Why would I do that? Have you seen the look of him? Like that stupid monkey's bottom."

Chuckling down at her as she squirmed beneath him, he watched as she placed her hand on his chest. She was half heartedly trying to push him away, but it was obvious that she didn't really want to... In fact, it was probably possible for her to roll them back if she wanted to. His eyes met hers briefly, expression falling a little blank as she denied trying to seduce Barbossa. Jade... Merr didn't seem very impressed... Rolling his eyes, a weak smile flitted across his face, eyes soft and forgiving. Had it been anyone else, he would have held a grudge, but how could he hold a grudge against Jade. She had always known how to cheer him up, back when they were just friends and he was sure that she knew a way now that they were together. Sliding a hand down her back, then raising her upper body, he kissed her. At that moment, he didn't really care whether she wanted to kiss him back or not, although something to prove to him that she could be loyal would help. He was trying, so if he could do it, so could she.

Jade's eyes widened in supprise, but he was glad. Looked like he had the same idea as she did. Which was very good. Very good indeed. So she kissed him back, pulling him closer, not really caring if someone knocked on the door. He was showing that he knew she was telling the truth, by the look of it. And she herself was thanking him for that.

Quite surprised as she kissed him back, he was pulled closer, obviously not caring about anyone knowing about them. It was obvious to him, having known Jade so long, that she had been telling the truth. She had a habit of flirting with men she wanted something from, and although she hadn't been doing it recently, that was the Jade Barbossa Junior would know. Unfortunatly. For him anyway, if he upset Merr further. Yes he already had orders to take him out of the picture, but he could make it as slow and as painful as possible, if he saw fit.
