Merr smiled at her, nodding. "Of course." Gently taking the necklace from her, he put his arms round the front of her neck, dragging them back to fasten the necklace at the back. Wrapping his arms back around her neck, he held her close, smiling warmly, eyes daring her to try and squirm away. You look beautiful.

Jade smiled. "Thank you. You're very handsome yourself." She didn't often compliment anyone, so this was a first. Her heart was screaming to stay like this, but her head was arguing. They should be sorting the loot.

Merr grinned at her, chuckling softly. Would you put up with me if I wasn't? Although he was a little vain, he was just joking around with Jade, although the compliment did give him a real confidence boost. Jade wasn't exactly known for compliments, nor relationships, and he had managed both in quick succession.

Turning around to face him, she looked at him carefully, resisting the urge. They could start that later. "Come on. We'll get this done first, then we can focus on..... Other things." She lifted some coins and placed them on one side, and repeated the process with some more, the necklace glinting on her neck.

A new twinkle appeared in his eyes as she spoke, he rather liked the sound of that... Shoving the bars aside, he started on the other pile of coins... There sure was a lot of it. Moving some coins to the other side again, he repeated and repeated. The pile was slowly going down, but they had a lot to go. Then of course was the jewellery, although they could have more fun with that. Maybe he'd find another earring for himself, his existing one was barely existing now... Sadly.

Jade smirked warmly at him. "Seems you're very eager!" She remarked, but continued with the job, admiring the fact that the large pile was going down slowly. Hopefully, if they continued at this rate, they would be done by the afternoon.

Smirking at her, he chuckled softly, nodding. Why wouldn't I be? You see, I've just made plans for after we're finished here, with an absolutely beautiful woman, in both body and personality, whom I've loved since I was a boy. You see, she had this father that believed that relationships between Captain or future Captain and crew were not meant to be, but not any more. Smiling at her, his eyes sparkling, he turned back to the decreasing pile of coins, working just a little bit harder to try and finish a little earlier... Although he did wonder what she meant by focus on 'Other things' but he was certain that he'd enjoy it no matter what it was. Just spending time with her was enough for him.

Smiling, she picked up a set of dubloons and let them fall back on the table with a soft chinking noise. Leaning forwards, her slim fingers grasped the last coin and set it with the others. Chuckling at his words, she flicked his hand, but sat back, lifting her feet and placing them on the table.
