Darren raised an eyebrow along with Valerie.

"Puck... I'm just... no. Sorry. I need to focus on... everything else in my life. Maybe some other time?" Payson said. In reality, Payson just wasn't that into Puck...

"Uh... okay..." said Puck, going back to sit with Sam. "That was the first time a girl ever turned me down!" he told Sam.

"Well, there's a first time for everything." said Sam.

Emma sat down at a table and waited for Will to see what was going on in Glee Club.

Will walked out of classroom, after dismissing everyone and walked over to Emma, who was sitting down already. "Is this seat taken?" he asked, gesturing toward the empty seat in front of Emma.

Emma smiled. "Of course not." she said. "So how was Glee Club on the first day?" she asked before eating a grape.

"Off. It seems like with the new students, the chemistry is really off. Especially with Rachel in the picture." Will replied with a sigh.
