'No, no,' Fyn replied smiling, 'Not stronger physically, but, since our race is older as a whole, our technology is, and I don't mean to offend, much more advanced. THAT is what makes us dangerous. I'm not going to deny that.' He shuffled backwards on the bed, making himself more comfortable, 'But you'll be fine. They can't even fly the ship properly without me.'

Luyi nodded, crossing her legs and uncrossing them again. "Okay." She said, easily satisfied. She crawled to the end of the bed, smoothing down her skirt as she sat down with her back leaning against the cool wall. She smiled at him, wondering what he was thinking. The necklace burned a little, so she took it off and placed it on the bed covers, playing around with the chain.

Fyn sighed. 'I don't know what I'll do once this is over. My race would never take back a traitor. Do you think your planet would take me?'

Luyi nodded, wrapping her arms around her waist. "Sure. What's so bad about you?" She glanced up but then relaxed, feeling warm and comfortable. "My family would." She muttered into his shirt, smiling.

'Really? That is something that I could never thank you enough for,' Fyn smiled, he didn't want to be alone. Being with Luyi was even better, spectacular. 'I would love that,' and he put his arm on her shoulder, like a sort of half-hug.

Luyi smiled, happy to make him feel happy. "I know Mum would love you. She's been dying for a son that'd stick around." She laughed quietly. "Cause Isaac barely stays home." She sighed cheerfully and glanced up at him, glad he was satisfied. "You'll love it there."

Fyn gave a wide smile and leant his head against the wall. He wasn't sure what to do now, it was too late to continue towards the headquarters, and the vents were turning out to be more of a maze than he had realized. He didn't want them to get lost.

Luyi unwrapped herself from him and smiled, beginning to get bored. She twirled a strand of hair around her index finger as she thought, looking at the bed covers. Her finger slipped from her hair as she traced the intriguing pattern, and she smiled softly again, interested. She got distracted quickly, and loved to entertain herself with new methods.

Fyn smiled at Luyi, she was an interesting person. He didn't see her as another species anymore, she was just like another person. He watched her play with her hair. 'Human hair is so soft,' Fyn said, 'It's lovely. It's one thing we can't replicate.' He held out his hand, 'May I?' Wanting to feel her hair between his fingers.

Luyi glanced up at him and laughed. "Sure." She said, rolling her eyes. She continued to trace the cover, liking the way the colours melted together on it. She didn't mind the way Fyn asked her weird questions at times since she was used to it, although she'd barely knew him.
