Fyn nodded and stumbled out of the room, a little disorientated. Which way?Fyn thought, astonishing himself, I should know, I walk here all the time. He began to get his thoughts back and turned right into a hallway, climbed some stairs and came to the door of another room. His brief faultering had cost him some time, and he heard some people shouting. He flung the door open. There were a couple more people in it, weapons already pulled out. Fyn fired at one, seeing another grate they could escape to as his victim fell to the floor.

Luyi blinked a little before running after him, the pink liquid turning to gas and working. Anybody who had been alive had fallen asleep, and she was slightly dizzy too. She shot at anyone who was near her, almost shooting at Fyn but stopping herself just in time. She mumbled a sorry before continuing to look around.

Fyn hurriedly locked the door, 'That should buy us some time.' He ran over to the grate and broke the small door open. He turned to Luyi, 'You go in first,' there was banging and shouting from the other side of the door, 'if anyone gets shot, it's me.'

Luyi frowned but listened to him, sliding in. "I'll feel real guilty if you do get shot." She muttered, doubting he'd hear her anyway. She started to crawl quickly, her fingers sliding up and down the trigger softly as she thought. She glanced back at Fyn, before continuing to crawl.

Fyn smiled slightly, 'Don't worry.' He followed her into the shaft and closed the door behind him, just in time to see the door to the room being broken open and armed soldiers racing in, a confused expression on their faces. 'Stay still for a moment,' Fyn whispered to Luyi, 'These are professionals and could probably noticed us crawling around.'

Luyi nodded, freezing because he told her to. She glanced at her with wide eyes, and she was sure he'd see the fear in them. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get the feeling out of her. It seemed like she was always worrying they'd be found, and Fyn would be killed. She was barely breathing, in case they figured out what was happening.

Fyn knew that Luyi would be scared, why wouldn't she be? Fyn looked through the grate cover and saw the soldiers relax their search. 'Let's go,' Fyn said quietly as he silently crawled through the vent, away from the occupied room.

Luyi nodded, continuing to crawl. "Where are we going?" She asked, her voice lowered to a soft whisper. She glanced around, starting to feel closed in because of the walls around her..

'Somewhere hidden, where we can rest,' Fyn said quietly. He thought for a moment, 'Perhaps just an empty apartment, they're quite hard to track.'

Luyi nodded, glancing back at him. "Okay. Do you know the way?" She asked softly, her voice barely being able to be heard. She knew that he;d heard her, though.
