Wolfy nodded, smiling. "I'll get my stuff from my room, you get the stuff in the hall closet. Sound good?" He didn't want her walking into his room. It scared him, actually thinking she would see his... obsession.
Tango snorted with laughter, tugging free and racing to the barn, stopping behind the propped door. She peeked around it, smiling, and then tucked her head back behind it like a filly playing peekaboo.
Maza smiled, nodding his head slowly. "It's a great place, if there are other horses around. But alone... it can be dangerous." He sighed, remembering all the times he had had to defend himself, afraid that he would be left for dead, cold and alone without anyone to grieve for him.
Tamera scooted slightly closer to Maza's large, comforting frame. She still couldn't say anything, couldn't explain why she was so withdrawn and silent. She was afraid. Afraid that he would think she was rude, or mean, or any of the other things she'd been accused of in her old homes.
