Wolfy nodded, seemingly in a daze. "Yes, they are. Powerful, loving, feared by their enemies... they're enviable, aren't they?" Ever since he had been little, he had loved watching them. Listening to them. He had imagined once that he could be like them, having no fear, knowing that he could beat anyone that dared to cross him. Now, he didn't imagine anymore...
Tango nodded her head. "I know she'll do fine. She was always a fleet footed young mare." She smiled, lipping at Spirit's neck affectionately.
Maza lowered his head at the site of the human, but he stood his ground. The mare in the fence knew him, after all, and she seemed pretty happy. Maybe he wasn't one of the bad ones? He looked over at his new friend, gauging her reaction to him.
Tamera lifted her head slightly, pulling her hair to the side to peer at the boy with shocking green eyes. He's got marks, too... and he's with that girl in the house. Her brother, maybe? She thought to herself, as she always did. Her mind, since she'd stopped talking years ago, had gone into overdrive. She noticed things, remembered things, so much easier than before.
