When Wolfy opened the door, he spotted his new little sister sitting on the arm chair in the very corner of the living room, watching Animal Planet. It was a special on Madagascar. He smiled, moving over to the couch. "She's got good taste, I'll give her that." He pulled Kat into a sitting position. "I'll go and grab the stuff from the linen closet later, okay? Maybe we can set up a tent or something." He laughed. He had always wanted to have a living room camp out.
Tango shook her head, snorting with laughter. "Oh, Gods, I kicked that thing so hard it went soaring back into the lake! It was so stunned after that, it just swam in circles." She stopped, leaning down to nibble at a blade of grass. "Oh, to be young again." She sighed, smiling warmly.
Maza grinned, walking over to the water trough and taking a long drink. "That's good. At least she was safe and happy..." His face fell for a moment, thinking about all the lonely months he'd spent, worrying about his little sister.
Tamera barely spared a glance over at the two on the couch, her short cropped hair barely covering the long, wicked scar on her face. If it weren't for that one little thing, she would have been beautiful.
