She smiled, and her stallion stepped forward, ears flat and teeth bared. An odd grumble emerged from his throat, and Kat laughed patting his neck. " Easy you, I'm pretty sure she could kick your butt. " The stallion tossed his head and sighed heavily, guarding Katherine closely. Kat stepped forward and offered her hand. " Well its nice to meet you Wolfy. " She said with bright eyes and a small, sweet smile.

Wolfy looked down at her hand as if it were a deadly snake she were offering him. He swallowed heavily, then slowly took her hand into his, which was shaking badly. "It's nice to meet you, too." He smiled weakly, his hair covering his eyes. Tango lifted her head up high, turning it sideways to glare at the stallion with one deep, dark amber eye.

She smiled, gripping his hand and shaking gently before releasing and resting it on her horse's neck. " So... I was about to go off on a trail ride.. wanna tag along? " Katherine asking, flipping her bangs off to the side and smiling, her emerald eyes looking into his hidden ones. The stallion snorted, glaring back at the mare with honey colored eyes.

She smiled, gripping his hand and shaking gently before releasing and resting it on her horse's neck. " So... I was about to go off on a trail ride.. wanna tag along? " Katherine asking, flipping her bangs off to the side and smiling, her emerald eyes looking into his hidden ones. The stallion snorted, glaring back at the mare with honey colored eyes.

Wolfy nodded his head quickly, too quickly, and he made himself dizzy. Or was it her? He couldn't tell at the moment. So he hopped back onto Tango's back with ease, as familiar and reflexive as taking a breath, and nearly as vital to him, and leaned forward to coax her into movement. Her gaze broke from the stallion's, and she took a tentative step forward. "Lead the way." Wolfy smiled to Katherine shyly.

She grinned, and walked over to her stallion's side, stroking his neck before hopping back on, landing easily without disturbing him much. Kat clicked, leading him forward, and he pranced, tossing his head and nickering happily. No longer did he care for the mare, he wanted to run.

Wolfy cooed lovingly into Tango's ear, and she became at ease, though still worried over the two strangers. Wolfy was just as jumpy, but for a totally different reason. He opened his mouth several times, wanting to speak, but closed it just as quickly. Finally, he looked up, his voice quivering. "I just moved here not too long ago, with Jake and Tammy."

Tango stared ahead, her shoulders twitching nervously. She was used to being allowed to chase off most who came near her human, but being this close to another horse, a strange human... she didn't like it. She turned her head slowly to look at Spirit, then turned away quickly, hoping he hadn't seen. She breathed in, then out to steady herself. She would just run it all away, that's what she would do. She lifted her head and snorted, knowing Wolfy would know what she wanted.

The stallion pranced onward, Kat stroking his neck and giggling as he bunny hopped forward ( I rode a horse that did that XD ) She looked back at Wolfy and smiled, her pink/blonde/black hair blowing in the slight breeze that came through. " Relatives of yours? " She asked with bright curious eyes.

Spirit snorted, tossing his head and giving a loud bellow of excitement. He wanted to run, feel like he was soaring. His tassels flying out behind him, hooves making hardly any sound as he silently ran... oh how he loved doing that.

Wolfy shook his head, again too hard. "My adoptive parents. I've been with them for almost a year now. We moved so that I could get Tango here." He patted his mare's neck as he spoke her name, drawing comfort from her as well as giving it. "Well, I think the hoofed ones are getting antsy... wanna race?" He looked over with a glint in his eyes, almost like excitement.

" Oooh.. " She replied softly, looking ahead at the open road she and her stallion normally raced on. " Haha, sure. " Kat said with a smiled, collecting the stallions mane in her hand and feeling as he grew tense, ready to take off.
