She looked over to him and smiled, her slight pink cheeks hot with blush. " Sounds good to me. " Katherine said, her gray-blue eyes bright with joy.

He snorted and followed behind her, nipping at her tail and tugging it as they went. Spirit just stayed quiet, now bored with this weight game.

Tango led the way quickly to the main path, and out to the road that went between the two properties. Wolfy patted her side as he jumped off, opening the gate. "Spirit and Mocha can stay in our pasture with Tango, if you want. You know, just so you don't have to put them up."

Tango shook herself to finish drying off, and dipped her head down to graze. She sighed, contentedly, her eyes darting up to glance around at familiar territory.

Spirit followed lazily, kneeling when they got onto the property and past the gate. Mocha wandered to a patch of green, grazing happily. Once Kat was safely off, the stallion wandered to Tango's side and grazed.

Kat smiled to Wolfy and pushed her bangs back. " Alright. " She replied softly.

Wolfy led Kat into his house, holding open the door. The inside was a shocker. On the outside, it looked like just a regular old country house, but the inside was decorated in a profoundly Gothic style. Not thick eyeliner, bad poetry Gothic, but classic Gothic. Gargoyles sat up on the mantle over the enormous fireplace, while there were deep red curtains blocking out almost all of the sunlight outside. It was... beautiful.

Tango glanced over at Spirit, her eyes flashing honey gold in the light. "So, stallion, tell me about yourself." She smiled shyly, her tail flicking behind her.

She walked in behind him, and gasped when they stepped inside. " Wow Wolfy.. " Katherine said, stepping towards the fireplace and admiring the gargoyles. It was so.. beautiful. " Your home is gorgeous.. "

The stallion raised his head, flicking her ears and snorting softly, smiling. " Well what exactly? I can either brag, or go off on my past. Up to you mare. " He chuckled at the fact neither of them used the others' name.

Wolfy shrugged. "Yeah, my parents have really neat taste. My dad's an accountant, and my mom is an artist... well, she says she's an artist. What she means is that she fixes classic cars and flips them for a butt-load of cash." He laughed, thining of his adoptive mom covered in motor oil and vehicle paint.

Tango laughed. "Well, we can start with your past, then. Bragging gives me a headache." She pulled up a large clover leaf, nibbling it thoughtfully.

She smiled, thinking back to her own parents. A rodeo rider, and a vet. Both animal loves with their simple country home. " I hope they don't mind me being here.. " Kat said softly as she walked deeper into the house to admire its beauty.

The stallion chuckled, and swallowed the grass he'd been chewing. " Well I was born at a breeding farm out in Georgia. Kat's parents were friends of my owners, and chose me for her as a gift. She had just come out of that other terrible home and needed a friend, and we fit together perfectly. She and her parents trained me, and I helped her with depression. I was always there to comfort her. " He chuckled, remembering how she'd spend nights in the stall next to him, and he'd be there to comfort her if she had nightmares. " I've had a fairly good past to be honest.. how about you mare? "

"Nah, they won't. I think my dad will just be happy that I have a friend." Wolfy shrugged, laughing. It was true, his parents both worried over how antisocial he was, and he got the 'opening up' speech every other day.

Tango turned her head for a moment. "I was born in the wild. My father was the leader of our herd. But then, one day, a truck came into our territory, and I was captured. They locked me up, tried to train me, and sold me at an auction. Luckily, Wolfy was the one who got me, and we've been together ever since."

She smiled, and walked over to him, wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug. " Same with my parents. " Kat said, pulling back and grinning up with bright eyes.

The stallion listened, and grinned, tossing his head softly. " That's why you always look like you're ready to attack. " He joked, chuckling. Spirit snatched up another mouthful of grass and chewed it, savoring the lush vegetation's flavor.
