Amanda laughed. "Ah well I'd hate to cause a problem" she said with a slight smile. I;m glad he dosn't think it's weird that i'm in a tree she thought. She laughed at this thought. She brushed her hair back. She turned down the volume on her ipod, careful not to drop that.

Jacob laughed slightly. "Guess you typical days not as dull as mine, i'm Jacob by the way. I'm sure the random showing up factor must be a little odd, but hey make my day more interesting" he siad, but then shook his head, "not that that's to important to you."
He laughed slightly to himself over how awkward he must sound.

Joseph laughed, "can i climb up?" he asked, hoping she wouldnt think it was awkward him asking that question. Her remembered the days when he used to stay in a tree all day, just watching the world below. That changed when he met Kandice, who was afraid of heights. All he had wanted was to stay with her, and that's what he had done their hole lives.

Kandice giggled, tucking her bangs behind her ear and blushing a little. She liked this new guy, and she hoped he didnt think she was weird. "It;s not odd, you came at exactly the right moment." She looked at joseph and a sad expression appeared on her face, "this is about the time i give up on my friend and spend the rest of the day alone." her mind wandered back to the many night Joseph had ditched her, the thoughts hurt, they stung her thoughts. "Im glad that it made your day more interesting," she added, putting a fake smile on her face.

Amanda nodded. "Of course, you really don't need my permission to come up here though, it's not my tree." she said, laughing slightly as she talked. She slid closer to the trunk of the tree, so that when he climbed up he wouldn't slip. She looked around listening to the birds.

Jacob followed her eyes. " I've he's back to you the next , hes still your friend. Every person need their adventures, that's just the way things work." He only new this from the countless other he had said this to, who most turned to forget him later. He didn't really think on it. "loyalty's a strange thing isn't it?"

JOseph grinned, hoisting himsefl up into the tree. He glanced over at kandice and saw this stranger talking to her. He wasnt jealous, but instead glad that his friend had finally moved on from her last bf.

Kandice sighed, "true." she replied,"wanna go to the movies>?"

Amanda smiled at the hospitality of things. She looked up at the sky through the trees. She loved the sky. It possed the limitless feeling of the world. She smiled at the thought.

Jacob raised his eyebrow at the question, but smiled. "um sure, i don't have anything else to do, as usual." . He thought for a while, noded, thought some more. He looked around and smiled to himself.

Joseph followed her gaze curiously, when he saw it led to the sky he smiled. "I hope that ill be able to go there some day," he remarked, lost in thought, as he stared at the blue abiss. He started to day dream about flying, or building a house in the sky. The thought was pleasant to him, and lightened his mood more.

Kandice grinned, "me neither, im sick of spending saturday nights alone." She looked at Joseph as he stared at the stars, "My best friend doesnt understand how much he's hurting me." A tear slid down her cheak, "I need a friend who wont ditch me every night to go out on a date with some stranger."

"pleasant thought, the sky, endless, endless possibilities." Amanda said mindlessly. She smiled, resting her hand on the tree trunk to make sure she didn't fall out. She smiled, took the headphone out of her ear and shoved the ipod in her pocket.

"Look at the bright side, at least he doesn't know, it means he's not hurting you on purpose" Jacob said and nudged her shoulder, hoping that he could say something that would do her some good. He shoved his hands i his pocket. He looked down slightly.

JOseph watched her with increasing fascination, this girl was crazy, and he liked every bit of it. "What kind of music you listen to?" He asked, righting himself on a brand and looking her in the eyes. He had never asked a girl this question, why? well because he had never cared before. He didnt care about the little things in people's lives, well, except Kandice, he cared about everything in her life. BUt she didnt really count since she was his best friend and all. He looked over at her as a tear slid down her cheek, he felt a pang of guilt in his heart, but ignored it. He looked back up at Amanda, not realizing the pain he was causing his friend.

kandice wiped her tear away hastilly and smiled, "Thanks, that helps." She had the urge to give him a hug, but since she had only met him several minutes ago she resisted. Instead she followed his gaze, looking down slightly. "I wish i was a mole," she remarked, a little smile playing on her rose colored lips. She knew this was random but being random was a part of her, like a habit, except this was a habit that was impossible to break.

Amanda laughed slightly. "To chose only one type is to deny the world of it's talents" she laughed as she spoke. "I prefer things like rock music and such, much to other surprise i'm not completely into classical music. I'm also not really in to rap, any one can rant, but it take real talent to make words me something" The further she into speaking the more thoughtful her voice sounded. She kinda laughed at herself, she never really said to things like that to people, most wouldn't quite get it.

Jacob smiled. "that about all i'm good for" He stuffed his hands in his pocket, wondering what that really meant. He smiled at the next thing he said. "Interesting choice of animal, very intresting." He kept looking down, even though he was actually feeling pretty good at the moment.

Joseph laughed a little to himself, he liked the way this girl seemed to lose track of thought when she talked. Going on and on, it made him smile. She had a cute look about her when she talked also, as if whatever you were talking about was the most important thing in the world. "Same here, although, i with i could say it as well as you do." He smiled at her, trying to be friendly without seeming like a stalker. He thought for a moment, wondering if he should ask her to do something tonight. Then his mind lingered to Kandice, he had told her that he would go over to her house and hang out. He looked over at her with that guy, he figured she could make plans with him. "You doing anything tonight?" he asked shyly, looking down at the leaves below, hoping that Kandice wouldnt be to hurt if he ditched her again.

Kandice looked at the ground also, her heart heavy, but this stranger was making her smile. She suddenly realized she had never told this stranger her name. "Im Kandice, sorry i didnt tell you before." She looked over at Joseph, she knew that look, that was the 'im gunna ditch her again' look. "Joseph im ditchin you tonight!" she yelled, her mind lingering to the movie. It felt good saying that she was ditching him for once, and she turned back to her new friend and added, "I had better go."
