Claude shrugged with a snicker, leaning against the wall. "Well, I figured you probably wouldn't like it too much." He mumbled, digging out his phone from his pocket. Thankfully, his father hadn't called him for a while.
Claude shrugged, glancing down at the ground as if an earthquake was soon to start. He sighed deeply, getting a call from the rental company. He tugged on her wrist or a second, then dropped it because he needed to support himself. "Come on. You are almost as slow as I am." Claude muttered, heading towards the exit and out the door. After retrieving the key from the man who he spoke to on the phone, he leaned against it. "Mind if I drive?" Explaining directions to her would be difficult.
Claude nodded, unlocking the car manually. It took him a few seconds to clb in, but he got in successfully. Claude cranked it with a whistle. He drove onto the road, trying to recall how far his house was from here.
Slipping into the passengers side, she leaned back in the seat, not really happy to be sitting again but didn't complaine out loud as she clicked the seat belt. "Drive," She muttered with an irritated tone.
Claude took a left turn towards his house, eyebrow raised at Foxx. "What's got you so under the weather?" He asked quietly, hoping he wasn't the root of the problem. Claude watched the road closely, bringing his eyes back to Foxx every-so-often.
"I'm just tired of everything. The trips on the planes, the cat and mouse game, the whole thing." Foxx replied, shaking her head and laying her head on her hand that was propped up on the edge of the window.
Claude sighed deeply, mumbling under his breath. He nodded, taking caution to the nearby drivers. He wasn't exactly the most safe and concentrated driver, but he'd get them there. Claude hummed to himself, trying to think of some way to get her to cheer up.
