[Hikaru Kurosaki]

Claude nodded, following her down the stairs. He glance around the kitchen, and the smell of food wafted under his nose. His mouth watered, and he then realized how hungry an tired he was. "It smells nice down here." He commented with a polite smile, his eyes darting across the roomto find the source.

[Tossing Spades]

"Over here," Foxx called, walking over to a large, long table with food spread out on it. Her stomach growled as she took a seat next to Buddy. He greeted them with a smile and a few words Fox didn't catch. "Please, dig in." He offered, but Foxx had dalready started placing things on her plate. She smiled a guilty smile and bit into a roll. "Thanks, Buddy." Foxx muttered with a mouthful.

Claude took a seat a the table, and plCed his napkin in his lap. He glanced at all the food, and honestly didn't know what to get first. "Yes sir, thank you. It all looks delicious." He said, piling food onto his plate. After digging into the food, he tried his best to keep himself paced. He didn't want to seem rude by eating too fat or messy, so he would always make sure he wasn't causing any problems.

"Gotta' love Italian food. They can cook the best, right?" Foxx pointed out, just then realizing how completely different they were. He was using manners, and was careful the way he spoke. She used the slurs, slang, and most of the time didn't even use the full word. She wasn't sure how long the both of them would hang on. Buddy just nodded at Claude. "You two just make yourself at home. Foxx, stay as long as you'd like." He offered, but she was too busy eating.

Claude smiled, enjoying the feeling of food in his stomach. After a few more minutes of deciding how much food to combine, he set his fork and knife down to wipe his face. "Right." He responded, smiling broadly. His cheek muscles hurt from the over-use. "Thank you for the food. It was brilliant."

Foxx finished, full and feeling unable to eat another bite. Buddy just shook his head. "Anything for my Foxx," He laughed his heavy laugh and kissed her on the head. "you two get some rest." He told them, Foxx nodding and motioning to Claude to follow. She disappeared back into the room, it dark and cooler now in the room because the sun had gone.

Claude smiled weakly, slightly envying the relationship Foxx had with Buddy. His father had never been able to spend much time with him. He slipped out of his seat, and followed Foxx to their room. He took off his shoes, and put them out of the way. He layed down on the bed for a moment before walking to the nearest bathroom, taking his suitcase with him.

Foxx didn't take the time or energy to change, instead just flopped onto the bed and closing her eyes. The bed was soft, and pillows flooded the head board. Her shoes slipped off, with her toes pushing them off her heels and she pulled her legs in close to her, curling up on her side and positioning a pillow under her head and relaxing. Not completely asleep, she opened her eyes in a sleepy manner. "You don't mind staying here for a bit? 'Cuz we'll be crashin' here for a bit."

Claude quickly changed, and plopped down on the bed beside her. After getting under the sheets, he let out a deep sigh. "Yeah, I don't mind." He mumbled, shifting to his side and shutting his eyes. "Goodnight, Foxx..." He added, yawning.

Foxx didn't reply, as she closed her eyes and drifted into a quick, deep sleep.

The sun pierced through the window and shined in Foxx's eyes. Blinking them open, she sat up and rubbed her eyes, and scooted away from Claude. gingerly, she placed her feet on the floor and brushed out her bangs from her face.
