Jake walked around, and then heard Zach. "I wanna help!"

"Great! Everyone else seems so absorbed in their stupid romance issues..." Zack replied enthusiastically.
"I say we infiltrate their fortress and kill them." said Reno.
"That's what I thought you'd say." Cloud said.

Jake smiled. "How wonderful. I vote for Reno's plan!"

"Excuse me? I was technically the one who came up with that plan." Lily said out of nowhere.
"I did come up with the infiltrating part!" Reno protested.
"Oh no," Lily said sarcastically. "You're just too clever!"
"Hey! You're-" Reno began, before a column of darkness appeared. None other than their enemy, Nero the Sable, emerged from the seething darkness. Everyone took out their weapons.

Jake shivered with the cold of the cloud, then pulled out his revolver. "What do I do?" he asked Lily

Lily rolled her eyes. "Hmph," Nero said. "The foolish dog doesn't know what to do when he sees Nero the Sable, and turns to his companions for help. How courageous. Now, if you will excuse me, I have certain business to attend to with this dog." As if to punctuate this last remark, Nero walked--literally--into Jake. He began to look more... evil. He laughed evilly.
"You see? Jake's mind is now fully under my control." Jake said in a voice that was both his and Nero's. "Now. Where's Kaila?"

Jake struggled with himslef, but it was no use. He was a slave to Nero.
Kaila came around the corner, and red mark on her face from where Jake had slapped her. "What the...?'

Jake--or Nero, as he was now--spoke once more: "Hello--and goodbye." as he said goodbye, he shot Kaila fatally above the heart. He left Jake's body and disappeared once more into his darkness, laughing all the while. Kaila's recovery was impossible.

Jake dropped after Nero left. Then he realized what he had done. "Kaila!" he cried. She was already dead. "Kaila!" he cried once more. The teachers came out of their classrooms to see the sad scene. The police were called. As they searched her pockets, they found a small picture of Jake from fifth grade. They handed it to the sobbing Jake. "We found this, and it says Jake on the back." they explained as Jake sobbed even harder.

Everyone else stood there, still as statues. Lily finally said, "We have to kill them all before anyone else dies. I'm going to the fortress of Nero and Weiss first, kill them, then to Sephiroth and I'll kill him too. Anyone else coming?" Everyone; Vincent, Zack, Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, Reno, and Yuffie nodded solemnly. "You coming, Jake?"
