:Ilianda:
Nothing else mattered, the entire world was blocked out as her eyes locked on ones she'd fallen in love with. It felt like ages ago. She let a deep sigh tremble through her and it brought a wave of fresh pain. She couldn't hold back the wince and stiffening but she kept her gaze locked on Abhay's eyes. What she found in them made her give a small meow of sadness. She pressed her nose tighter to Abhay, breathing in his scent. "Don't...leave...me." She growled through gritted teeth. His purr soothed her and she found it slightly easy to breath, but the coppery taste and smell of her own blood was strong, nearly overpowering with Abhay's mixed in.

Abhay

Abhay ran his tongue over her head, still having his mind grasp that she was in fact still there with him. He gave a small half hearten chuckle at her words, one that made his chest shutter with the effort and his facial features go into a wince of pain. "I won't ever leave you, my leopardess, ever." He let out a sigh of relief that he had been holding in, his whole body aching with the effort of it.

[Larynx]

:Ilianda:
His words comforted her, and gave her a steely resolve. There was no way she could give in to the call of death, even if a mere few seconds ago it had sounded so sweet and merciful. The wince of pain passing over his features made her slowly reach out and lick the bridge of his nose, her limbs felt to sluggish and numb to do any more. "I love you." She whispered. Her eyelids fluttered and closed, and she tried to steady her breathing but it remained shallow and labored.

Abhay

Abhay leaned into her gesture, the feeling of her tongue calming him slightly. "I loved you too." He looked at her slightly as her eyes fluttered closed. "Illianda...?" His voice was concerned and worried as he could hear her labored breathing. "Illianda, what's wrong?" He glanced at her parents slightly, worry pitching in his voice slightly and filling his eyes. "What's wrong with her?" His heart began to race slightly as his worry quickened it. He could feel his own raspy breath being forced out in haggard attempts, but at this moment that didn't matter. He tried to call out to her again, but instead of his voice coming out, he coughed slightly that built into a violent hacking sound, blood filling his mouth and throat and nose. He struggled to breath, his eyes locking onto Illianda before his own world went black.

:Kitsula:
The breeze felt good, and gave him the much needed fresh air he'd left his clanmates for. His mind was now always on his daughter's condition, less so on Abhay, but the two were so entwined, he often thought of and spoke of them as one. The cool breeze momentarily gave him a break from all aftermath of a massive clan war. With a sigh, he lowered himself down, and looked out to the rising sun. A new day. Would this be the day his daughter waked from slumber? The healers were hopeful, the elders were doubtful.

:Mernaya:
The aftermath seemed to never end. She and Kitsula were always on the move to disperse or even slay the rebell groups still loyal to the two-faced son of a vulture. Shaking herself to loosen the tension in her limbs, she padded over to look in on the two lovers. No change, and she sighed, hoping they would be okay. She once more joined a small band of her clanmates and led them off on a quick perimeter sweep. All the while at the edge of her thoughts were the two lovers.

:Ilianda:
Pounding. The first sensation of knowing she was alive was not pleasant, and she found it hard to suppress the groan of pain. Forcing herself to breathe slowly and calm her racing heart, she slowly opened her eyes. Panic spread rapidly at the sudden darkness. Slowly her eyes adjusted themselves and she found herself in a large den. Fearful of how her eyes took so long to adjust, she curled in on herself feeling vulnerable and bare, placing her head in her paws.

Abhay

Abhay's first sensation was the blinding pain that managed to make it's way down his back, sending white sparks in his closed eyes. He opened his eyes slightly, squinting at the change from dark to darker. He noticed a rock wall closest to him and the pain in his right side which he figured he had been laying on. He took an inhale of air, his lungs burning with the effort, though not so much as he remembered them to. The effort caused him into a coughing fit that left him gasping for more air. A small groan escaped him as he finished his fit. He managed to lift his head slightly as another groan caught his ears. He struggled to turn his head around to get a better look, his nose useless since the blood managed to dry in it. His neck gave another wave of pain shooting through his body as he tried to move it.

[Larynx]

:Ilianda:
She whipped her head up and around at the sound of shuffling and coughing. Searing pain shot down her back and throughout her body, harsh waves of pain crashed over her repeatedly. She hissed with frustration and pain, causing her nose and lungs to burn. Hissing, and flattening her ears, she tried to move around, and face the other creature in the den. The numbness of her legs surprised her, and her efforts to right herself left her sprawling uncomfortably in the warm sand. Slowly, she looked around, and let out a hiss when her gaze landed on the shape of a leopard nearly twice as large as herself.

Abhay

Abhay's eyes widened slightly at the sound of a hiss coming from behind him. He flicked his tail, the only limb on him that didn't seem to be completely dead and useless. He tried to shift himself around, slowly managing to get his front have shift slightly to glance at the stranger in the den with him. "Alright.. then.." His voice was soft and raspy as he tried to speak. "If you're going to kill me... I would be happy if you would do it quick..." He took in big breaths in between every couple words, not being able to manage more than that at a time. "Because... I can't seem to feel any... part of my body... but my tail... and that useless..." He tried once again to get a better look at the stranger, but all he could get out of it was a smaller shape against the sand.

[Larynx]

:Ilianda:
With her face against the sand and her legs underneath her, she was definitely not in any way prepared for a fight, and definitely not with something larger than herself. Her mind slowly recognized the voice as male, and even doing that little gave her a dull headache. Letting another hiss escape her sore jaws, she rasped between ragged breaths, "If...I could...kill..you...you... would... already have... been." She felt her eyes dilate rapidly as they tried to adjust themselves and focus on the figure. Spots. A leopard. She tried to scent the air but instead inhaled sand, and harsh coughs seemed to tear her apart, setting her lungs on fire again. She found it too hard to suppress a groan of pain.

Abhay

Abhay could hear the effort the other stranger was giving in talking. When he heard it's voice he could tell it was female, and the size seemed to confirm his guess. The sound of coughing and gasping made him wince slightly as he knew exactly how that felt followed by the groan of pain. "Well since... both of us... are going... no where... how about... we.. call a truce... for this short... period... of time...?" The male managed to roll his hind over with a grunt of effort and gritted teeth, so that he was facing the female on his left side. Every part of his body burned with the effort and then gradually grew numb as he laid there.
