:Ilianda:
"Gladly!" She hissed, he was right, and she doubted she could hold out much longer. She could feel the weariness in her limbs, the throbbing beginning to truly be unbearable. Seeing him gather himself was startling, but it was even more so as his large body barreled toward her. Swinging her weight back onto her haunches she dropped her shoulders, hoping to pivot away as she had done only moments ago, but even as she pulled herself away, she knew it wouldn't work. She could feel her front legs give way, and she saw Namir closing the distance in slow motion. Bracing herself for the impact as best she could, she opened her jaws as wide as possible baring her sharp fangs in an angry, desperate snarl. The impact sent a shiver through her, and stars exploded before her eyes. Blinded by pain, she instinctively bit down hard on the mass she hoped was Namir.
:Mernaya:
She skidded into the clearing, sending up a spray of sand cavorting into the air, catching the last of the light. Nearly colliding with a tree, she pushed herself off from it, sending her several feet into the air, to land with a thud at the battlefield. The sight nearly caused her heart to stop its rapid pounding. She watched in horror as Namir launched himself at her daughter, slamming into her with a force that sent both cats reeling. The leopards were a flurry of yellow and black causing a tornado of sand as they fought, their snarls and yowls painful to her ears.
:Kitsula:
His mate had surged ahead, fueled by the rage only a mother could know. Pushing his legs to pound the earth faster, he hoped he wasn't to late. Leaping atop a rock formation he slid to a stop at the top, nearly slipping over the edge. The battlefield below was stained red, evidence of severe damage. His eyes widened in shock as he spotted the yowling mass of leopards, flinging sand and dark red into the air. He let a roar escape his jaws in despair. He could do nothing until they separated, it was impossible to distinguish his daughter. His claws dug into the rock as he held himself back from leaping into the foray, tottering dangerously close to the edge.
