Abhay rolled his eyes and scoffed at the healer's words, but he knew to respect Jerume like he should respect any other leopard as old as he was. The male shook his head slightly and set to cleaning of the rest of his left paw and his chest, making sure to take extra care in keeping the fur on his chest flat, as it had a habit of ruffling up at every small movement he made. He let out a small yawn, his stomach now content, he remembered Jerume offering news about what was going on. He glanced over at the healer, "What was it that you said about news?"

[Larynx]

:Ilianda:
She was licking her paws and using them to clean her face, removing the blood and grime from her pelt. But she paused mid stroke at Abhay's question, paw held close to her face. She peered at Jarume nervously, but with a slight eagerness to know. She felt like she'd been out of action much too long and it'd only been two days.
Jarume sighed ad replied flatly, "Ilianda's father is alive. Thought it would be reassuring as you haven;t seem him for a while. Fighting at the front lines as he should." He flicked his ears and continued, "Our losses have been...more than expected. Your clan's have been moderate, though I doubt them." He flicked his tail at Abhay indicating it was his tribe he was now speaking of. "They're using ambush and over powerment. Hate to say it Abhay but your clan is fighting near dirty." His voice had a hint of displeasure and disgust.

Abhay

Abhay sighed. "I figured they would..." He flicked his ears slightly as he thought of something that could be helpful to help out this clan, but he wasn't quite sure if it would work out. "Well... I can give information about some of the ways they fight... I don't know if it would help, but it would sure stop some of the casulties..." His voice trailed off as he looked at Jerume. After all Abhay was raised the way they fought and knew their dirty tactics.

[Larynx]

:Ilianda:
She placed her paw back on the sand slowly, surprised at Abhay's offer. "Abhay do you think that'd be best. You're...one of their own." She flicked her gaze to him. She wasn't sure if his offer crossed a clan line or not.
Jarume mentally agreed with Ilianda. Abhay may not want to be a part of his own clan, but he was. And he was doubtful if whether or not his advise would be taken, if it were delivered by him it would likely be disregarded. Though he'd fought in battles more than most of his clan members, he wasn't well liked. He flicked his ears, torn.

Abhay

Abhay nodded slightly. "I know..." He shifted his gaze toward the ground as he thought about it. He knew he would betraying his clan in a way that he could never be forgiven, but he would rather stop this were it was no before one clan was wiped out. He looked back up at Ilianda. "I can give a few away, but not all, as I made a promise to some one. If it means stopping my father, and hopefully shifting the clan leader, I'll do it." He flicked his tail so it wrapped around his hindquarters in a swift movement.

[Larynx]

:Ilianda:
She held her tongue from speaking its words. It was Abhay's choice, and she admired him for it. She saw the quick movement of his tail and mirrored it, swinging her own high white tipped tail across around her paws as she nodded. Her eye caught movement on the ground and she watched a red ant carrying a large piece of matter, nearly twice as big as itself. She sighed, she knew exactly how the ant felt carrying such a weight back to its home.
Jarume cocked his head, interested despite himself. "Very well, Abhay. I truly don't know whether or not your information will be used in battle, but I will make sure to give it to either Mernaya or Kitsula." He replied, speaking Ilianda's father's name for the first time.

Abhay

Abhay nodded slightly. "Alright then..." His voice trailed off as he thought about it, and he was sure Mernaya would have nothing to do with him, but then again she might surprise him. And as for Ilianda's father, Abhay had no clue. Afterall, he wasn't part of the clan and never would be from where he stood at the moment. He shook his head slightly and lowered himself down into a laying postion, his clayed cast putting strain on his neck. He lowered his head on to his one good paw, his gaze left on the ground before him, watching the small dirt particles move around with the breeze.

[Larynx]

:Ilianda:
She gave her chest a few reassuring licks before lowering herself into a laying position. It may take a while, and she wasn't about to exert anymore energy after her big meal. At that the carcass's smell wafted to her nostrils, and she sneezed. Annoyed she rose to her paws, grunting and full belly swaying, padded over and lay down beside Abhay. She placed her head on her paws and focused her gaze on him, waiting.
Jarume waited, not pushing or hurrying the young leopard. "Whenever you are ready, young one." He said softly, encouragingly in his smooth voice.

Abhay

Abhay shut his eyes for a mintue or two after hearing Jerume's words. He opened them and glanced up at the healer then over at Ilianda. "Alright then... let's just get this over with." He stood up, and shook out his pelt as much as he could with his soreness. He glanced at the old healer and flicked his tail fo rhim to lead the way, as he knew not which way to quite go.

[Larynx]

:Ilianda:
She lifted her head and rose to a sitting position. Curious to hear what he'd say, but by Abhay's actions she figured she wasn't wanted to listen in on the information being shared. Though a bit hurt it was tempered by understanding. She rose to her paws, swaying, cumbersome with her full belly. She flicked her tail carrying it high and curved up off the ground. "I'll...head back to the den and wait." She began slowly padding off toward the den, stopping to look back over her shoulder at them, green eyes catching the fading light.
Jarume rose stiffly to his paws with a grunt, and stretched. "I believe Ilianda would feel left out." He whispered to Abhay, but flicked his tail for the other male to follow him as began padding away.
