:Ilianda:
An excited flick of her tail gave the male a soft face smack at his flirtatious words. Ears flicking back and forth at the increasing sound of camp with the day passing on, she said incredulously,"Tanvi!" Lowering her paw to the sand, she shook her head at how she could have forgotten about the leopardess. "We must send someone out at once to find her!" Swinging into a slow lope, she made her way towards the center of camp, eyes expectantly looking for a guard or scout that she could send off.

Abhay

The male perked his ears the familiar name, baffled he forgot about her. He took off after Ilianda, glancing around and looking at the leopards as well. Although, he was unfamiliar with who did what yet around the camp and he felt he had rather get acquainted with that. In his own camp he had no problem telling who did what since each had a rather distinctive smell to them. He began to wonder if that was the same here in this camp as well. Opening up his mouth so he could get a better flow of air, he took in the different scents that filled the air.

:Ilianda:
The camp was in a slow flow of leopards moving about, as it was now the middle of the day and activity was limited to scouts and guards, and the steady trickle of clan members padding about talking and bringing in the occasional addition to the kill pile. Processing all this took only a few seconds as Ilianda looked around for a not so busy cat to command. Standing against the warm breeze, she spied a small group came in and she promptly made her way to them, adopting a purposeful stride and calm air. She paused mid step though as her mother suddenly appeared among them as the group switched with the relieving group. Heart pounding a little faster with surprise and indecision, she turned to Abhay. "One of them should do what we ask." Flicking her tail at the group of males, she padded after her mother.

Abhay

He looked at the group of leopards that they had been making their way for. The male glanced at where Ilianda suddenly took off and gave a small but understanding smile before walking off toward the group of leopards. He gave a small nod before addressing them. "I know you all have just come back, but I need one of you to go on a search for a leopard." He flicked his tail slightly glancing at them as no one immediately offered to take up his offer. "She left a couple weeks ago and I can give you some ideas as to where she might be." He watched as a few of them exchanged a couple glances between each other before one of them spoke up. "I'll go." Abhay nodded and noted a couple places they could check as the other leopards wandered off. "Tanvi can be kind of... hard to understand at first, but be persistent, she'll come around." He bowed his head slightly as the leopard turned around and took off. The male glanced around, seeing where Ilianda went off to.

:Ilianda:
Swinging her legs to cover more ground was easy, she had been born with an ability to cover ground fast and effortlessly. Yet, so had her mother, so catching up to the small leopardess took some extra long strides on Ilianda's part. Drawing level with her, Ilianda pushed far enough ahead to swing her body in front of the already angered queen, and force her to draw to a halt with an annoyed hiss. Standing firm, Ilianda looked her mother in the eye and said softly, "Mother, I know things have changed. Not all of those changes were for the worst, look at how I myself am a mother, how the two clans have become at the very least indifferent. Mother, there is no reason to hold such anger or hatred or sadness in in your heart anymore." Peering into Mernaya's eyes Ilianda could see it brewing just below the surface, barely contained even now.

:Mernaya:
How dare her daughter prove to be so audacious and insult her int his way? In front of everyone, too. Refusing to act inappropriately, she held herself together as she'd always had since the death of her beloved. With her claws kneading the sand in rapid contractions, as her ears heard what her mind had trouble accepting. "You speak the truth, my dearest only daughter. Yet how do you tell me what I should and shouldn't feel when you don't share in what I've gone through? Your own mate is alive and breathing, while mine, your father does not." The aged leopardess bowed her head. Rather than respond with words, Ilianda simply rubbed her head against her mother's.

The two leopards stood together against the slow, warm breeze blowing sand into their pelts. Slowly, Mernaya's emotions dulled at the comforts of her daughter. Gently Ilianda attempted to comfort her mother with soft words of encouragement. At the mention of one particular suggestion, Mernaya's face lit up. Grinning, Ilianda led the expectant grandmother to see her grandkits.

Abhay

The male looked around for a bit before he spotted the familiar beautiful figure heading back to the den with her mother. A smile appeared on his features at the thought of Mernaya finally getting to see her grandkits. He flicked his tail and glanced back at where the male leopard had left to find Tanvi. He hadn't even gotten his name, he just hoped that he would be able to find the leopardess with ease, but knowing Tanvi that male was going to have quite a challenge on his paws. He shook his head slightly, removing the dirt that had blown gently into his face with the hot breeze. Turning around, he made his way to the tree just outside of the den Ilianda and Mernaya were in as he wanted to give them some privacy. He lowered himself in the cool shady sand under the tree, placing his head on his paws.
