Jake sighed and looked at Briar, "Because I don't want you to make the same mistake as I did." Jake sat down on the bed, he spread his arms out so Briar couldn't get on the bed. "I fell for an agent too, it was my worst decision ever." Jake looked down and continued, "I fell for a girl, I didn't know she was an agent until she told me. I still loved her and she still loved me, even when I did tell her that I was a criminal. But one day, it all broke apart. She got a new case and she went undercover, she was just doing her job though. That's when she needed to get information out of me, I told her everything she wanted to hear but she didn't believe me because there was evidence that I was a murderer. I denied it, I never killed that little girl but Jane she just..." Jake got a tear in his eye, "She just didn't believe me and she took me and she put me behind bars. She ruined my life." Jake stayed silent after that, not knowing what Briar's reaction was.

(I just came up with a story within seconds, sorry if it is a little boring I didn't have time to think much)

Briar felt sad and angry at the same time. She turned the chair so she was facing Jake. "I'm sorry that that happened to you. If she really thought that, then maybe she wasn't right for you." Briar said softly.

Jake nodded, "Right, but the point is. Agents can ruin a criminal's life, I just don't want you to make the mistake I made. That's all." Jake smiled, that was the reason why Jake didn't like agents and it was a good explanation. Jake had a few tears roll down his face, the memories of the two being together came into mind. He tried to avoid it but he couldn't, he put on a smile so Briar would think everything's alright.

"Thats very thoughtful of you." Briar said. "But I truly think Noah won't do anything like that." She said. Briar wanted to tell Jake about last night, but she felt like Kini might hear and get mad.

Jake rolled his eyes, "Just wait Briar, he will do something like that." Jake laid down. Noah came by and handed a bag of food to Briar, "Here." He smiled and gave it to Briar, "I'll see you later. I'm busy today." He smiled one last time before leaving. He ran down the hallway since he was late for a meeting.

"Thanks." Briar smiled and took the food. She ate some of it and offered the other half to Jake. "Do you want the rest?" She asked.

Jake shook his head, "I don't trust agents." Jake was worried that the food had poison in it or something, 'She's just going to eat the food? What if it had poison in it or something?' Jake turned around and laid on the bed, once again he hogged up the bed. He didn't want Briar to be in the bed, it was weird for him

"Why would he poison me?" Meg asked sighing dramticly. 'Jake just needs to understand.'

"Oh I don't know, it was just a thought." Jake said it in a mean way, he was tired too. He fell asleep, wanting to escape reality.

Briar huffed to herself. She curled up in a ball in the corner of the cell. Falling asleep. She covered up with her dress, shivering.
