Noah sighed, he knew he had to explain himself. "Kini and I got into an argument about you. She said I have grown soft for you and that I needed to be harder on criminals, to act like they don't have feelings. But all humans have feelings. I just wanted to prove that I haven't gone soft, that's all." Noah was telling the truth, "I'm sorry if I hurt you, I didn't mean to." Noah squeezed her hand.

"It's ok... I was a little dramitic I think. Thanks for telling me." Briar smiled.

Noah scoffed, "It was not dramatic, I was just doing my job." Noah smiled and laid long ways on the couch, he was a bit tired but he wanted Briar to stay with him. "Could you stay please?" He put on a smile and hoped that she would say yes.

"Of course! I don't have anything else planned." Briar said, laying back.

Noah smiled, "Thank you," He looked at the window then back at Briar, "So how's your life been? You know, you have to go back into your cell at some point this week. You can't just escape your cell and voila, we just magically erased your criminal history." Noah said it in a dramatic way, knowing Briar would say something about it.

"Busy thats for sure." Briar smiled. "So your gonna turn me in?" Briar asked, unimpressed. 'If he turns me in, I litterly will never talk to him again.' She crossed her arms.

Noah sighed, "I will, but not now." Noah smiled. "I could call Kini right now and tell her that you're here, I won't hesitate." He was joking but then he thought about it, he would just be doing his job though.

"Whyyyyyyyy?" Briar asked. "If you do, it will litterly ruin my whole life." She said softly. It seemed like her life had just taken a turn for the better, now Noah wanted to ruin it.

Noah chuckled, "It won't ruin your life, you will be out in a little while. Breaking out of your cell just adds up more time in there, it's not my fault you've been sneaking out of the cell. Now karma is coming back." Noah smiled, "Just doing my job, that's all. I can't just let you slip away, it's not fair for other criminals and it's not fair to the justice system either." Noah explained it pretty well but still felt bad for Briar, she would need to stay in her cell a bit longer just because she escaped it.

"Uhgggggg." Briar said, putting her head in her hands and running her fingers through her hair. 'Maybe I shouldn't of came here in the first place.' A little voice in the back of her head said.
