Shrugging the blond looked away and took in a deep, shaky breath. "It's fine.. she was the only one who cared about me.. I miss her.." he said, his voice cracking. Soren nodded when she mentioned going home he winced and placed a hand on his stomach, feeling a bit sick.

Maddie made him look at her, sighing. " I care about you, and so does Alex. You were never alone, just lost. " She told him, noticing his wince and how he placed a hand on his stomach. " Are you okay? Maybe we should stay longer? "

"Thank you.. for loving me.. I don't deserve it.." he said, a hint of sadness in his voice. The blond shook his head, "it's fine.. we can go now if you want" he added, pushing himself up a bit and groaning softly. It had been a while since he moved and his whole body was stiff.

Maddie blushed a bit and smiled. She took his hand and smiled. " You do deserve it." She told him earnestly before helping him sit up. She was a bit happy to leave the hospital and watched him carefully. She helped him all the way outside before hailing a cab. " Are you sure your okay? We can turn around right now. " She told him.

The blond blinked away oncoming tears and gave his head a light shake. He wasn't so sure about what she said, but he didn't question it. As she helped him he tried not to be too much of a burden, although it was a bit difficult to walk. "No.. I'm fine.. I'm just a little hungry" he admitted. He hadn't eaten in awhile, plus he had thrown up what he did eat earlier as well.

Maddie helped him into the cab and sighed. " I suck at cooking... Would you be upset if I called Alex for help?" She asked nervously. She hadn't realized the driver was asking her a question. "Where to?" He asked again. Maddie looked at Soren expectantly, not sure where to lead the driver. She took his hand and cuddled close, closing her eye's for a minute as she calmed herself down. Enclosed spaces were her worst enemies. She opened her eyes and looked at Soren again.

"You don't have to cook.. I can do it, plus I'm on a liquid diet anyway" he said, he gave the driver his address and leaned back against the seat. When she took his hand he smiled briefly and held her close, trying to ignore the pain.

Maddie shook her head. "Your not moving until your better. " She told him sternly, watching out the window for a moment before huffing. " I'm calling Alex. " She decided, pulling out his phone from her pocket. She tried to unlock it, but she didn't know his password. "Unlock it please. " She told him, holding the phone in front of him.

Soren frowned at her stubbornness, "I could say the same to you ya know" he said, teasing slightly. When she pulled out his phone he was a bit surprised, "oh, I had forgotten all about it" he mumbled, taking the phone and putting in his passcode. He handed the unlocked phone back to her and sighed, rubbing his face with a groan.

Maddie laughed a bit, catching the teasing tone. As he unlocked the phone she smiled. " It's nice when someone has your back, am I right?" She teased before taking the phone and finding Alex's contact. She pressed the call button and crossed her fingers as the phone began to call. The driver turned down the radio with a polite no before focusing on the road once more.
