Soren looked at her with sparkling ruby red eyes. He honestly felt so emotional and was surprised at himself for showing them. "I was so worried.." he whispered. After she wiped his tears he pulled her close against his abdomen and sniffled. He nodded to the doctor and as they were left in silence his belly rumbled loudly. Since he was so relieved he honestly had gotten his appetite back.

Maddie blushed and nodded. " I understand. " She said softly and cuddled him. " Hopefully you can go home too." She said softly. She smiled. "I think yesterday was just a way to try and relieve the pressure..." She said. The doctor entered with Soren's doctor and smiled a bit. " Go ahead. " He told the other doctor.

The blond held onto her tightly and protectively, not wanting to let her go again. "Hopefully.." he said softly. His head honestly felt fuzzy and he couldn't really think straight. The doctor nodded and looked at the both of them. "The ulcer will need to heal for a few days, keeping his stress down is vital to it healing. If his stress gets high again he could rupture the ulcer. The stitches will also dissolve on their own but until then he shouldn't move around a lot" he said. "He also may feel nauseated for a couple days so be careful. A liquid diet is best" the doctor added.

Maddie smiled up at him as the doctor spoke. She wouldn't let anything happen to cause him pain again. Maddie listened carefully and nodded as he gave guidelines. " So we're good to go home? " She asked again, thinking of how she would help Soren once home. She could also call Alex for help... She wasn't exactly sure how to take care of people. She shook her head a bit. She'd figure it out if she had too.

The doctor nodded and smiled at the two of them. "Yes, but take it easy, call us if you need anything" he said before leaving the room. Soren leaned against her and let out a small sigh, he was lost in thought and having flashbacks. Tears welled up in his eyes and slowly slipped down his cheeks as he continued to think.

Maddie smiled, nodding a bit. " I will, thank you." She turned to see that Soren was crying and sighed. " What's wrong? " She asked him gently, cuddling him. She wiped his tears away and hugged him, trying to comfort him.

When she wiped his tears and hugged him the blonds body began to shake. The flashbacks became more intense and he struggled not to break down. Taking in a deep, shaky breath he shook his head to snap himself out of it. Looking at her he sighed softly, "there's something I never told you.." he said, his voice cracking slightly.

Maddie watched him carefully, scared he would stress himself. As he spoke, she looked at him. " Whatever it is, it won't change how much I love you." She told him with a soft kiss on the cheek. She tilted her head and waited patiently.

Soren blushed at her words and when she kissed him. He took in another deep breath and looked down. "My mother died of a head injury.. I was with her in the hospital when she died.. that's why I'm so worried about you.." he said softly. He sighed as a few more tears slipped down his cheeks.

Maddie's eyes widened a bit and gave him another hug, sighing. " I'm sorry Soren. I didn't know. " She told him softly before looking him in the eyes. " I'm okay.." She whispered before wiping away his tears. " Why don't we head home? " She asked him softly, cuddling close.

( I'll be gone at 2:55 to 11:30, so i'll be gone for 8 hours and 35 minutes max once im gone. )
