Maddie froze, staring at the nurse who spoke. "Surgery? What would happen if he didn't get it?" She asked in a whisper. She held Soren close and looed at him. " I don't want to lose you Soren..." She whispered, unsure about the decision coming.

"Well he could suffer internal bleeding and possibly lose his life" the nurse said, feeling bad they had to say that. Soren's body trembled and he held on tightly to her, he honestly felt sick. Like he was going to throw up. The pale faced male looked at her and nuzzled her cheek, extremely afraid. The blond took in a deep, shaky breath, stuffing his face into her chest and sobbing. "I don't want to die.. please.. I love you Maddie!" he cried, his true feelings spilling over and washing over him.

Maddie froze, petrified by the nurse's response. Her heart began to pound as she processed what was just said. "D-Die?" She shook her head, holding onto Soren tighter. She was stunned. As he nuzzled her cheek, she began to cry softly. "You're not going anywhere Soren I won't let you!" She told him. When he confessed his emotions, she froze. "Y-You do?" She asked. Se took a deep breath and whispered to him. "I-I... I... I love you too..." She admitted. She looked up at the nurses again. "H-How soon can he get in?" She asked, her voice breaking a bit.

Soren's body shook violently in fear, his heart was racing and he was sure everyone could hear it. Noticing her reaction to his confession made him smile briefly, glad to hear that she felt the same way. He had been worried she would've rejected him. "Yes.. I do.." he said softly. One of the nurses looked to another for a moment then nodded, "we'll have to prepare so it'll be a few minutes" they said, having the other nurses help the two of them back onto the bed. When they were laid back down on the bed Soren was on his back, looking at her with puppy dog like eyes. He hesitated for a moment before he grabbed her hand and placed it on his stomach. "Would you.. rub my belly.. please.. it hurts.." he whimpered, feeling vulnerable.

Maddie held him close and only let him go briefly as they helped them onto the bed. She was still stunned at the fact that Soren felt the same way as she did. When he asked her to rub his stomach she nodded softly. She rubbed it softly, watching the nurses as they prepared. She was scared, closing her eyes for a second and taking a deep breath.

The blond let out a soft sigh and smiled slightly when he felt her warm hand on his stomach. It felt nice and it helped calm him down a little. "Thank you.." he said, taking in a deep breath as well and watching her hand rise and fall with his breathing. Soren continued to watch her hand, that is up until his belly made a strange noise, causing him to flinch slightly.

Maddie kept rubbing his stomach softly, shaking slightly. She was watching the nurses again, waiting for them. "I'm s-scared.." She told him, though she knew he was the one to be scared. "Sorry..." She whispered, looking away.

Soren nuzzled her as she continued, the motion soothing his stomach and helping it calm down. He nodded when she mentioned she was scared, "it's okay.. so am I.." he said softly, grabbing her other hand and holding it tightly. Once again another loud noise filled the silence, causing him to blush, "I'm sorry about the noises.. I don't know why it's happening" he said, feeling embarrassed.

Maddie smiled softly as he comforted her, yet she was still scared, she squeezed his hand softly and sighed. "It's the stomach thingy... At least I think so..." She told him, looking at him again. She turned to a nurse. " Are you guys ready yet? We need to get this done and over with..." She told them, cuddling closer to Soren to comfort him.

( That suck's. I've been okay, still waiting to see a doctor about my knee. It locks into place and then I can't move it or it brings to me to tears and I can't move for a bit.)

The blond sighed at her words, feeling embarrassed by it. When she squeezed his hand he gently squeezed back. "I'm sorry.. it's embarrassing" he said as it made another noise. A nurse glanced over at her and nodded, "just a minute, someone will be here shortly to bring him to the OR" they said. Soren looked at her when she cuddled closer to him, smiling despite the pain he was in.
