Maddie looked at him with pure sympathy. She opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by the doctor who entered. "Great! You guys are good to go home. The cab will be here in 5 minutes. Don't worry about the fee." He said with a smile, noticing how Maddie was watching Soren's every move. " Your a lucky guy you know. You don't find such pure souls every day." He said with a bit of a magical glint in his eye. Silently the hidden angel left, leaving a blessing for them both so that they would never be injured to the point of hospitalization. Maddie had squeaked at his comment and buried her tomato red face in Soren's chest, embarrassed.

(Yes i just had an angel cast a spell so they would never get hurt to the point of having to go to the hospital ^^ No more hospital scenes or them )

Before he could say anything the doctor had entered the room, informing them that they finally got to go home. With a relieved sigh he thanked the doctor and dipped his head in respect. "Oh, yes, I'm very lucky, she's my world" he said in a soft, loving voice. Seeing as she got embarrassed Soren chuckled and nuzzled her, finding her reaction to be rather cute.

Maddie hid her face and squeaked again when he nuzzled her. She looked up at him with a shy glance before she sat up. "We should go.... The cab's probably going to be here soon...." She said, her voice cracking with embarrassment before she stood up, her back to Soren to hide her beet red face.

Soren sighed playfully and slowly pushed himself up off the bed, his body feeling a bit heavy and lethargic. "Okay, let's go.." he said softly, taking in a deep breath and following her to the exit of the hospital.

Maddie shivered a bit since she didn't have a jacket and stood at the exit, watching as the cab maneuvered the winding road to the hospital, trying to get around the parked cars in the way. She felt Soren behind her and pressed her back to his chest to try and stay warm. It was chilly outside.

Soren held her close as the car pulled up, opening the door for her he helped her inside and closed the door behind them. Giving directions to the driver he laid back and let out a small sigh.

Maddie smiled when Soren opened the door for her, and once he was in she laid her head on his shoulder sleepily.

Glancing over at her the blond smiled briefly before he looked out the window with a soft sigh. He was honestly so mentally and physically exhausted but he knew he wanted to be strong for her. Quiet for the duration of the ride Soren thanked the driver and helped Maddie inside, carrying her upstairs and tucking her into bed. Making sure she was nice and warm Soren sat on the edge of the bed and texted his brother to see when he would be stopping by.

Maddie had already fallen asleep by the time they arrived at the house and blinked open her eyes slowly. " Thank you..." She said sleepily, burying her face in his chest as he carried her inside. She had fallen asleep again before Soren had even tucked her in.

Seeing that she had fallen asleep again the blond stood up and went into the bathroom, removing his shirt to look at the new scar. Gently gliding his fingers over the still healing incision he sighed, his body was a mess. Suddenly he received a text that Alex had arrived and that he was coming in. Soren hadn't told him about the recent surgery and he was afraid of what he might say.
