Van still held onto her hand. He didn't realize she hadn't noticed but he didn't have the strength to move. As time passed nurses came in and out to check on him, taking care of his IV and checking the monitors before reporting back to the surgeon.

Once Rose hand clamed down, she took out her phone.

"Hello, I assume you're a friend of his?" The surgeon said as he walked in and stood next to her. "I promise we're doing everything we can to wake him up"

"Yes." Rose said with a sad smile while standing up. "Thank you." She said quietly.

The doctor nodded and gently patted her shoulder in hopes of comforting her. As he walked away he glanced over his shoulder and told her he would be back in an hour to check up on him again.

Rose paced around the room. She listened to some music, hoping it would help her.

After an hour had passed the doctor returned to check on Van. Once he was done he let out a sigh and looked at his friend. "I'm so sorry.. but he's not waking up" he said, afraid of how she was going to take it.

Rose nodded. Barely holding back tears. She tore out of the room and ran all of the way home. She locked herself in her closet can cried herself to sleep.

Van ★ 17 ★ Male

After about a half hour the black haired male began to hear his thoughts again. Van struggled to open his eyes, but once he did he saw several nurses standing over him and taking care of him.

Rose stayed in her closet for a long time. But she slept the whole time.
