Black*Star held a smile the whole time, and smiled wider when she patted his head. "I'll see you later too, Patti! The party'll be great!" He smiled one last time, promising it. Black*Star waved and started to walk away with the same smile. He has missed times like this. Even with the situation going on, he missed being with Patti. But Tsubaki was waiting at home, and he needed to tell her about the party thing.

{ oh my god I absconded for a week. Minecraft sort of took over my life. ^^; }

Kid was intent on what Malice was saying, but did notice the small glance the cat like girl gave him. Another person he hadn't seen in awhile.
He was brought out of all thoughts when Setsuna turned, facing both Holo and Malice now. She didn't have any good escape routes, but Kid knew if she did she'd run. Such a coward, he thought, eyes narrowing slightly. He then let his gaze fall on Kuu, wondering what it was about her that Setsuna wanted to desperatly. Enough to face a shinigami multiple times to try and reach her - and now facing Malice and a huge wolf. Certainly not her best plan.
Kid made a mental note to ask her of this as well, as he never really knew what it was with the two girls. What Setsuna kept returning for.
He turned back now to the silent battle between the three, keeping himself rather close to Kuu, insuring nothing would get to her without his consent.

Patti waved, her whole arm moving in the process as she backed up, then turning to break out into a sort of jog. After all, she had left Liz there to clean by herself. And for all she knew, Kid could be home and completely upset with the condition of his house. Which also meant her scary-voice would have to come out again. Or, maybe he had grown out of that horrid phase? She hadn't seen enough of him to make that call.

Amber eyes watched as the blue haired assassin began walking in the direction of his house. She had overheard the party conversation, and wondered to herself. Is it really time to celebrate? Or relax, at that?
Anju frowned slightly. She was injured herself, getting out of Cromia's had been a battle of its own. She had used up far too much of her energy to get to Death City. And if she didn't cover her soul carefully, her mother would be right on her heels.
But she had to talk to either Black*Star or Kid - and judging from the mass of activity swarming around Kid's soul, Black*Star was the better choice.
With a large breath, Anju took a step out of the shadows, only to nearly collapse as she spoke.
"Black*Star, are you sure..partying is the best option right now?"
Her voice was weak, for someone who used to speak with an intense and powering tone. For a female at that.
But either way, the message of Marrow's iminante return needed to be delivered.

Black*Star blinked when the person walked out, but recognized who it was. "[censored], are you alright?" He walked forward, blinking. "And what do you mean by that? We just got back. Its an occasion to party, isn't it?" Black*Star was confused by those words.
They battled Marrow, escaped, and lived. Why isn't it the number one option? A welcome home party would lift everyone's morals.
So what was bothering Anju? And was she going to be alright? To Black*Star, she looked about ready to pass out completely. And he knew that she had something important to say, if she would be walking around like this.

Anju let out a faint sigh, closing her eyes for a moment. "..I'll be fine. I'm more concerned about how you will be." She knew he had a point, a party would ease the group greatly. She was worried, however about if they became too relaxed. After all, they only escaped Cromia's by defeating Marrow...for a brief amount of time. They still had that witch to face...Red*Star and Degan, as well.
"I'm not sure if you know, but Marrow is still alive, in some form. He's...in the shadows, as always. His soul is recovering. And it won't be long before he reclaims you..." Anju grimaced. Black*Star had access to his own shadows - and she wasn't sure, but maybe Marrow could tap into that link of the assassins and control it on his own? Maybe Black*Star was too powerful for that to happen. She hoped.
"You should just be on edge, and make sure he doesn't take control of you when you're not alert."

Black*Star blinked. Then the air he held was released in a small gasp.
It felt like someone had punched him in the stomach, then upside the head, causing his vision to blur. Black*Star felt his balance leave him, and he stumbled a bit. "W-what are you saying...? M...Marrow could still be....alive..?" His voice was a first for him. The confused, low, slightly scared voice.
Black*Star had nearly gotten gravely hurt, and Patti as well, from the batter with Marrow. And that bastard's still alive...?
Black*Stat regained his senses and finally said. "So...Marrow is healing in the shadows....And he might be able to...control me....?"

"It's merely a possibility. You have a special link in the shadows, dont you? I'm not sure, but he may be able to get into that, if you're not aware of it." Anju let the silence hang for a moment before continuing. "I don't know if that can happen though."
She had noticed how Black*Star reacted. He was downright horrified at the very thought of Marrow, and that was easy too see. For someone who had been utterly fearless...
"But I have ease in the shadows too," Anju added. "I could always try and see his souls progress..."

Black*Star covered his mouth with a hand, eyebrows furrowing in thought. "I do....I do use shadows in my battle techniques..." He inhaled and exhaled deeply, thinking. "So Marrow is still around. You're sure on that, right? And you can see his progress...?" Black*Star looked around slightly, hand still near his mouth in thought. "Don't....don't tell the others about this. At least...not now...I might tell Kid about it, since he should know..."
Black*Star ran a hand through his flat hair, scratching his head. "[censored]...." This....This changes everything....dammit...

[Fawning]

Malice

Malice continued to keep her eyes upon those of Setsuna's occasionally Malice's
purple front bangs would waver and sway due to her movements. She soon took another step
towards Setsuna, In which caused Setsuna To step back out of Fear. Malice's eyes narrowed, A burning
look of Sensational anger was held with in her irises as she kept a hard stare. Her arms being down
by her sides but her legs had been slightly parted from where she had stepped, Over all she was still except
for the heaving movement of her chest due to breathing.

Holo

Holo's front left paw would slide back across the concrete of the earth beneath her as she
stared at Setsuna, Her fangs still having been bared. Her claws ripping down at the solid
earth with a force of Despise. Her muzzle soon parted as she'd slide her tongue against
her top, front row of teeth before snapping her jaws back to a close, Her throat vibrating with a
rumbling Snarl. Soon after she lunged towards Setsuna with a loud Bark, Her kicking up small bits of Gravel
from her back paws as she moved towards Setsuna, Her jaws ripping open and Then slamming to a close upon
Setsuna's dress, Her head jerking back causing a loud rip to be made with in Setsuna's dress.

Setsuna

Setsuna's eyes narrowed as her brows would Crease down, Her body stumbling back, Due to the
bottom part of her dress being Ripped by Holo she was able to move a bit quicker but not by much,
She took a few steps back before bumping into a tree. her arms pulling back behind her as her nails would pierce through
the damp bark upon the Tree in which was quite Hollow, Her eyes soon trailed to Kuu who was behind Kid, A disgusted
or look of despair was made.

Kuu

Kuu remained behind Kid, Her eyes a bit hazy due to what was going on but over all she was calm.
However, After having noticed Setsuna looking at her, The look in her eyes, she shattered. Kuu
slowly turning on her heel and pressed her back against Kid's as if Keeping her balance by leaning on him.
Her left hand lifting, Her knuckles curling to form a light fist in which she held close to her chest while
her eyes narrowed, But soon closed and her lips would part to speak. "Kid.. I'm not scared of you. Even if
Setsuna says those things.. You should know by now, I'm not scared of you and You shouldn't worry about
that." She said while lifting her head, Tipping it back causing her blonde hair to waver while she looked over
his shoulder to look at him with her deep, Crystal blue eyes.

Kid's eyes had widened slightly as the attack on Setsuna was made, only to have the girl retreat to a tree, and give Kuu a look that made him very nearly attack her himself. His fists had clenched, eyes narrowed and a scowl on his face as he looked a the blonde, feeling his soul wavelength intensify.
However, it all died down as soon as he felt Kuu press her back against his. His eyes had widened, hands loosened, shoulders relaxing once more. His gaze flickered back to her, listening as she began speaking.
She wasn't afraid of him. He was very, very relieved to hear it for certain. It wasn't as if he had that suspicion, or at least, not enough of one to ask her about it himself. When Setsuna had put the idea into his mind, he had worried, yes.
When Kuu looked up at him, he only saw her light blue gaze out of the corner of his golden eyes.
"..I won't worry, then. But I have another question." His gaze flickered to Setsuna, but it didn't stay there long, as he felt the same hatred forming once more.
"What does she want with you?"

"I'm completely sure that Marrow is still here. You or Kid didn't collect his soul when you 'killed' him, right?" Anju's eyes narrowed slightly, not like she was angry with him, but with the fact that Marrow still had enough power to keep himself around. "And no, I have not tried to see Marrow's soul yet. But it's likely I could. I'm not exactly the strongest now..." She didn't normally like admitting things like that, but it was unavoidable. "But yes, you should tell Kid, at least. I will honor your request by not saying anything about it, though." She lightly dipped her head, out of respect more than anything. He was in a difficult spot as it was, and didn't need her spreading word that was unecessary.

[Fawning]

Kuu


Kuu was silent for a moment, Her head then turning so she completely wasn't look at him,
The back of her head facing him and her back leaning upon his. She pondered, Whether to answer
honestly or to Lie, Either way she was sure he'd figure it out eventually so she decided to be honest.
Her fist in which was upon her chest would flinch and become slightly tighter. "What she wants with me..
She wants to kill me. She became my protector by my 'Prince' A while ago after he passed away. She stuck
by me, Since I'm an absolute angel, The one that isn't supposed to exist, I'm supposed to die. My Prince
Originally wanted to Destroy all the Absolute angels and so, Since most of them are hard to find he left
Setsuna with the Pay of killing me in his place." She said while lowering her head, Her voice seeming
small and a bit of a whisper close to the end.
