Marrow was leaning back in the shadows, hands behind his head. He looked over to Cromia. "Hm...?" He thought. "Well...Black*Star could help rebuild Death City...but maybe soon..." He shrugged.

"Another thing we have to do," Stein said. "We have to give every soul we collect to Pyro."

Cromia nodded. "He just seems...less..willing. Wouldn't be so quick to go against everyone he cares about. Now, perhaps if Kuu went to Shibusen..." She looked at Kid again. "You would have immediately ran back to them."

Kid narrowed his eyes. That was probably correct, and it upset him how easy he was to read. He decided not to say anything more to Cromia, and instead turn his head to look away.

Some of the students eyes widened. "Give them all to a Kishin?! What were you thinking...!" Some called, frightened. "I don't want to! Is it mandatory?"
"No way! He'll get stronger off of us!"

Marrow nodded. "What should we do with him?"

Stein sighed. "In order to keep out peace at Shibusen, we must do that."

Cromia sighed, shaking her head. "In some ways, I want to let him be. Tarnishing two students reputations may result in Shibusen being uncooperative. They'd turn on themselves, really. Wondering if any of them are with us, pointing fingers. It'd be havoc. And a small part wants to keep him, as he has great skill and potential."

A girl with long black hair narrowed her eyes. "Ah, but why don't we just go and attack? The fit ones! Attack their small group alone, the main ones of the organization. Eliminating leaders diminishes the entire formation. It doesn't make sense to give in, and let a Kishin win."

Marrow nodded. "We'll see what happens then."

Stein sighed. "We don't want to risk it. The last battle took a toll. Their plan was to injure us, not to kill. So we have to regroup and rebuild."

The girl didn't say anything else, but scoffed and muttered something under her breath.

Maka couldn't help but agree. It would be easy...taking them out, just as long as Pyro wasn't there. If they took out Cromia, and all of her main supporters, that left only the Kishin to deal with. Which could hold off.

Cromia nodded. "I say we leave him alone for now."

Kid sighed faintly in relief. Black*Star was safe for now. Safe from choosing.

Marrow nodded. He saw the ripple coming into view.

Red*Star's eyes were still closed, her only visible closed eye twitched, trying to not think about the darkness.

Stein sighed. "So once the rebuilding is done, we will start on missions again."

Soul grimaced. "Start up missions for what? Feeding Pyro?" He didn't care if his remark got him in trouble. "Its completely useless. Face it, Shibusens on the loosing end right now."
Maka narrowed her eyes, looking at her partner. "Shutup!" She said in a hushed voice.

Degan had zoned out, and shook his head to wake up. "Ah..." He looked at the ripple, blinking.

Red*Star dared to open her eye, and saw the ripple.
Marrow braced himself for when they got back.

Stein sighed. "We care about the safety of Shibusen...."

Soul narrowed his eyes. "Yeah, are we really safe right now? Shinigamis son has up and left us. That should be a sign in itself." He finally stopped, noticing the pained glare he got from Liz.

Liz looked back to the front, her eyes still showing a mix of anger and sadness. Its not that Kid left because he knew we were loosing..! She clenched her fists, her eyebrows creased.

Kid blinked as the ripple neared. It was about time...he felt the distance from Shibusen, and the anxiety and worry was slowly fading. It was a matter of accepting his own decisions.
