Ranya waited for Tobyn to disappear outside his front door before disappearing. She went back to her home, then her brewery room, and swiped up a potion. She always had an emergency spare brewed just in case of emergencies.. especially emergencies like these.
After that, she appeared before Leaxa. The goddess looked down at him, while he sat up and hugged himself. Ranya was displeased to see him sitting there, silently on the floor - he was ignoring Tobyn, and for what? What did he gain from ignoring his beloved? In her eyes, this was the most selfish thing that he could do.
"Why? Why are you here? And not there?" Ranya questioned, holding her vial of potion tightly in her hand.
"I'm... I don't- I can't face him," Leaxa muttered. He brought up his knees and hugged them too.
"Yes, you can! You love him, he loves you; you both make each other feel better... You can certainly face him. I promise," she tried to reassure. She knelt beside him and reached out to rest a hand on his shoulder. "Tobyn doesn't understand why you ignore him. He thinks you're hurt or in danger."
"I know, I'm pitiful," he murmured and swallowed back tears.
"Yeah, you are. You're here, sitting on the floor in your home in the void, ignoring everything going on! I would get it if you were off doing something you need to do, but you're not. You're here. You ignored him, Leaxa! How do you think he feels?" The goddess pressed.
"I-I know, I- I know... I'm- I can't. I- I can't go back to him," Leaxa shook his head and looked at her. "I, um, do love him, Ranya, but... how can I face him after this? after-" He started to cry. "After I betrayed him so many times.."
"He still loves you, Leaxa," Ranya assured him as she leaned in and hugged him. Leaxa cried on her shoulder as he leaned into her touch. "This simply won't do though... I'm sure you'd feel better if you were with him. Tobyn is still willing to take you back - I hear it in his words. Plus.. wouldn't you rather spend time with him now, while there is still time to spend? Before you have to deal with the war? And wouldn't you like to have someone to spend time with.. someone to share good times with while you catch breaks from your duties?"
Leaxa shrugged, then nodded a little bit. Tobyn was the only person he felt so connected to, but he truly deserved better than him. Tobyn didn't deserve what Leaxa had done to him.
"You gotta calm down, alright? Then, we can go back to Tobyn! I'm sure he's waiting!!" Ranya grinned and slipped back a little bit and reached a hand up to his face. She wiped his tears away before leaning back in and hugging him again. Leaxa hugged her back, taking great comfort in her actions.. though, for the most part, not so much her words.
After a few moments of silence, Leaxa managed to pull himself together and slip away from the goddess' embrace. He sat up, then stood. Ranya stood as well.
"Okay, my quiet friend, are you ready to go back?" Ranya asked, hoping for a positive answer. She didn't know what she would do if these two broke up. She didn't know why she was so obsessed with the relationship, but she just... wanted to see them be happy together.
Leaxa gave her a nod, and the goddess reached out a hand to him. He took it, and together, they teleported back to Tobyn's house. More specifically, directly in front of him. When they arrived, they let go of their hands and moved away from each other a bit - both equally as disgusted as the other person was.
"Well, finally I'm back. And with your beloved - and just so you know, this is the part where you, Tobyn, run to his arms and kiss him," the Love Goddess' eyes sparkled as she pushed for them to kiss.
