"Oh I know what it's like without a home," growled Ikari, pain and longing brought forth in his voice. "you could've stayed in your home. You chose to run from your home! I didn't. I was a scapegoat for a crime I'd never committed. I Never killed that elder. Never! I was just a 12 year old kid that just so happened to be there. And it wasn't even my fault, yet I was banished anyways! Of course I know what it's like without a home!" tears stung at Ikari's eyes, but he blinked them back and continued with his rant. "I survived in the wild for 30 years, Talon. I'd just began my sword and combat training, and you think it was easy for me out there? Well, you're wrong, very wrong." and with that, Ikari began his stride back across the valley, back towards his home.

Talon couldn't take it. He lowered his head in shame, but he spoke anyway as Ikari left him. "My family was eaten alive when I was just three months old because we went against the alpha of the village... When I was next and I ran away, like the coward I've always been. I felt like I had to run..." He growled,a slight whining in his voice from the memory. "I don't even remember their faces... Only their screams, telling me to get away..." Talon said, his guilt conscience coming back to life. He pushed himself to his feet, or attempted to. He ended up on his knees with his hands to the ground and tears streaming down from his eyes, dripping from his nose. "I'm sorry..." He whispered, for his family that he let die.

Ikari had made it back to the house, tears streaming down his face. "He has no idea," he moaned to himself as he was just within earshot of Anna and Syn. His voice was a whisper as he said softly, "he has no idea of the pain and suffering I went through. He doesn't know." Ikari clenched his hands into fists angrily and pained, oblivious to Talon's previous words. If he'd heard them, his opinion would've changed drastically on Talon. He wouldn't see him as the nasty murderer he always had. He would see a good part to Talon, a part never shown to Ikari before. Trudging up to his father and Anna, Ikari collapsed onto the ground between them in a heap, moaning incoherently.

Anna was now inside with Sasaki as she wept about losing her grandmother. Syn, Ryzo and Lora were in Sasaki's house as well and when Ikari came in, Lora got up, putting Ryzo onto Syn's lap. "Ikari! Sweetie, what happened?!" She said worriedly, kneeling down and pulling Ikari to her, hugging him. She hugged him tight and brought Sasaki to bring up her head and wipe her face. "Who has no idea?..." She asked quietly, her tail still and her ears flattened against her head.

Talon just knelt there, letting out the emotions he hid away. He didn't care to be seen anymore. He missed having a family. Three months of life he had a family over forty years ago and he couldn't even remember their voices. His only memory of them being their deaths all together in the middle of town. He regretted his life and felt like bashing in his own head, but he now had something to live for. He was torn. He wanted to find his old village and turn himself in for exicution.

"No, you wouldn't understand," Ikari whined as he curled his tail tightly around his body. "Talon... And me.... Mandoris..." Ikari couldn't form a complete thought in the state of confusion he was in. He didn't want to confess to the murders, for he'd end up banished again, but he couldn't stand this guilty conscious settling deep within his mind, clawing itself through his very existence. Out or no where, Ikari slammed his fist down on the floor, tears of distress and confusion streaming down his face. "No!" he barked out, sobs wracking his body. Ikari hadn't been this weakened since he was banished at age 12, thirty years ago. And the same thing could happen again: Ikari being banished and breaking down. It was almost like Deja vu.

Lora gasped and held her child closely. "Honey... Please calm down. Can't you just tell us what happened?" She asked sweetly, not wanting to see her child in such a state. Sasaki's expresion becamed worried as well and she forced herself up and sat on the floor beside Lora with Ryzo following her. "Ikari... It's Sasaki. You have to tell us what happened... Please. Seeing you like this is really scary..." She said, putting her hand onto Ikari's fist gently. Ryzo was on Ikari's tail, looking up at him innocently also, his own silent attempt to calm Ikari's wailing.

"No," Ikari growled, his hands now balled tightly into fists. His knuckles were beginning to turn white fromthe pressure. I can't give Talon away, he thought in agony. But it wasn't all my fault. I have to tell them... NO! What am I thinking?! But I have to... ikari's mind was in a mental war, fighting itself. Finally, as he shed the last tears, he whimpered, "Promise you won't get mad." his wOrds were timid and soft, unlike Ikari's normal cocky self. He didn't want to tell them, and het him and Talon kicked out, but if he'd feel relieved by speaking, he figured he could do it.

Sasaki nodded and Ryzo did as well. Lora was just silent though. "You can tell me anything. Ryzo. Your family. They will be behind you. Right?" Sasaki said, looking from Lora to to Ryzo, then Syn. Anna's expression was a little sad to see how desperately Sasaki wanted her words to be true, since she always wanted someone to be behind her like family. Lora and Syn were rather silent. Ryzo was onboard with Sasaki. It was split right down the middle.

Ikari firmly shook his head. "If not all of you agree, I won't tell." His expression was one of longing and pain, one he never could hide. "Trust me, it probably will make you mad, more mad than you might imagine." An image popped into his head of his first banishment, where the previous Head Elder, Santrose Mandori, laid dead before him. Ikari had broken down and said multiple times how he was innocent, but no one believed him. He was then thrust out into the wilderness for the next 30 years to come. Ikari's lip quivered as he remembered that, but he held his ground at the moment. He needed everyone to agree with Sasaki and Ryzo before he would speak.

Lora and Syn exchanged looks and sighed lightly before Lora spoke. "Honey, we could never be angry at you, but if what happened is that bad, whether we know or not, we'll have to punish you." Lora said sadly, looking at Ikari quietly. Sasaki understood their logic, but she didn't think punishment without knowing the crime was a good thing. She looked at Ikari and looked at him with pleading eyes. "Ikari... If it is that bad, you have to be able to deal with the consequences." She said sadly, looking into Ikari's eyes quietly. She was doing a little more mothering than Lora was right now. When it came to punishments, Lora and Syn were clueless.
