Ryzo hugged Ikari and smiled happily. "Big Brother! I slept great." He said with a happy expression. Lora shook her head and made Sasaki walk with her back to the couch. "No, no, no. If she doesn't rest, she won't get better. Sasaki, your head wound is too serious for you to be doing anything but resting right now. Please don't get up, sweetie." Sasaki frowned at Lora spoke to her like she was four, but it was a bit of a nice thought. "Alright..." Sasaki sighed, sitting on the couch while Lora tucked her in. "It doesn't look like your head is bleeding anymore. I'll check up on you in a little bit." Lora said before she bounded to the kitchen and took over Sasaki's cooking.

Ikari smirked at his brother. "Oh yeah?" He said. "Did you hear the rain and thunder?" He knew Ryzo was like him, loving thunder and lightning. They walked out of the kitchen and sat next to Sasaki on the couch. "Ryzo's here," Ikari told Sasaki with a grin.

Ryzo noddd and threw his arms up in delight. "It was so cool!" He said happily. Sasaki smiled up at them and laughed when Ryzo jumped down from Ikari's arms and sat on Sasaki's stomach innocently. "Hey." She said tiredly and giggled. "You got bigger over night." She said sweetly, ruffling Ryzo's head. "So where are you two planning on going today?" She asked, blinking away her blurry vision.

Ikari shrugged. "I really have no idea," he said seriously. "I guess I wasn't planning anything. I mean, I can't train because Dad's sick, and I can't go out with you because you're hurt," he sighed at the end and shook his head. "I think you're healing, but Mom doesn't think so. It's like she doesn't see the real you, Sasaki." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, and said, "It's like she doesn't see the tough, down-and-dirty side of you. She only sees you as 'I'm helpless and need to be sat down when I'm hurt' kind of girl. I see you differently, Sasaki. Truly. I realize that you're hurt and all, but you're still well enough to go out and make breakfast." He grasped her hand in his and said slowly, "I love you Sasaki, and I can't say this enough. I'll always be there for you, through better and through worse. I'll see all sides of you, the hurt side and the tough side. I need you Sasaki."

Ryzo was giggling as Ikari made his little speech, and that only made Sasaki blush and smile. She slipped her hand from Ikari's hands and put it on his cheek, drawing him forward and kissing his lips to get him to stop talking, even if it was for just a few seconds. "You're really sappy, Ikari... You know that?" She said with a light laugh. Ryzo was cooing. "You are like Mama and Papa! Except Kari is Mama and Saki is Papa." Ryzo blurted out while Lora would be heard snickering from the kitchen.

"I am a very sappy guy," Ikari agreed, rustling Ryzo's hair and laughing. He looked to Ryzo and whistled. "Well don't you know a lot!" He exclaimed as he looked over his brother. "Except I'd be Papa, and Sasaki would be Mama. Big difference, little guy! Big difference!"

Ryzo shook his head and barked. "No. Saki is strong and fights like Papa! Kari worries and is sappy like Mama." Ryzo said, laughing while Sasaki went along with his laughter. It was funny, she had to admit it. "And Saki is hurt and in bed like Papa now. And Kari is beside her, like Mama was." He added up, his tail flicking with delight. Lora had finished making the bacon and put it on the table before she stood in the doorwat to watch.

"Hush up bro," Ikari snarled playfully while shoving his brother a little. He looked towards his mom and shook his head helplessly. "How did you raise him after I was gone?!" He mouther to his mother. False fear wsa indicated in his eyes, and walked over to the kitchen. He strode past his mom and grabbed a piece of bacon, munching noiselessly on it.

"We raised him like we raised you. To have a sense of humour as well as a strong will." Lora said brightly, then frowned, walking up to Ikari and giving him a hug. "I'm sorry that we didn't stick by you though. It was a terrible thing, what those demons did to our family." She said quietly, her tail still to show that she was a little upset, although her facial features showed how sorry she was.
Back in the den, Sasaki was chatting with Ryzo about how training was going and what they were doing in the gardens a few days back.

Ikari accepted his mother's hug and nodded. "It was. It caused the Sylden downfall." He sighed and pulled out, rubbing his neck. Ikari's ears folded down for a second, but pricked back up when he scoffed, "But sense of humor and a strong will?! You can't raise someone with that! That's a natural trait with the Syldens!" He laughed, a throaty exhale of air with breaks in it.
